My ideal teacherChinese people generally think our ancient educator Confucius and Mencius are impeccable teachers. But from my perspective, they are just great teacher, but not perfect or my ideal teachers. Technically, every teacher have knowledge, but my ideal teacher is more superior than other teachers in the aspect of knowledge. Some teachers teaching methods are inculcate the knowledge to you, no matter you understand or not. My ideal teacher would enlighten and guide me to the sea of knowledge. He would inspire me to search for more knowledge. He neednt to know anything I want to know for he is the one who grows, learns and improves himself along with his students. My ideal teacher needs to be strict to his students. As the going says, talented students are trained by strict teacher. For instance, famous calligrapher Wang Xizhi is extremely strict to his son Wang Xianzhi. Wang Xizhi push his son to train everyday. Under the guide of Wang Xizhi, Wang Xianzhi used up 20 jars of ink. Eventually, he also became a legendary calligrapher for his own writing style. A good teacher should treat every students fairly. Students usually complain that their teacher is partial to some specific students. It is a pretty important issue. If a teacher dont treat students fairly, there will be not only arguments between the biased students and normal students, but also contradictions between students and the teacher. In short, in some extent, my ideal teacher is more like a partner, an elder or a role model to me. From their behaviors and their experience sharing, I could absorb it to promote myself.
