So he puts his talents to use by mastering his skills of wizardry to the point of where he can transform himself 72 times in a blink of an eye.,His is a rebellious character that will just not bow to established rules.,Pig is a lazy gluttonous that needs his material comforts when it comes to trouble he just cant hold his side up so is always first to call on for help.,Pig fills a role that symbolizes the desire to comfort and pleasure. He has magical powers but it is just not the same as monkey.,Oliver Twist, is the second novel by English author Charles Dickens, published in 1838. The story is about an orphan, Oliver Twist, who endures a miserable existence in a workhouse and then is placed with an undertaker. He escapes and travels to London where he meets the Dodger, leader of a gang of pickpockets. Naively unaware of their unlawful activities. At last, he escapes from the group and led a happy life.,Introduction of Oliver Twist,Introduction of the Author,Charles Dickens, was an English writer and social critic. He created some of the worlds most memorable fictional characters and is generally regarded as the greatest novelist of the Victorian period. During his life, his works enjoyed unprecedented fame, and by the twentieth century his literary genius was broadly acknowledged by critics and scholars. His novels and short stories continue to be widely popular.,Nancy,Nancy might be the most complicated character of the novel. Despite being a relatively minor character, she has a very important role to play . She is criticized for being a thief, whore, slut of the streets. In the novel Nancy is a prostitute and drinks heavily. It is she makes Oliver forced to steal.,Criticism,(in chapter16 and the last chapter),(Sikes is the second leader of theft),Conclusion,This novel was famous for exposing the dark sides of people lived out that time. In this novel Nancy is a typical character who lived in the bottom of the society. She had the same suffering with Oliver Twist, but she didnt have a happy end like Oliver Twist. Nancy commits one of the most noble acts of kindness in the story when she ultimately risks her life to help Oliver. Her character represented Dickens view that a person, however tainted by society, could still retain a sense of good.
