教案-李娜-必修三 Module4-2018年春季第7周(教案正文内容)Module FourSandstorms in Asia PERIOD 1 VOCABULARIES Teaching Reflection:Teach part of the whole words each time.Teaching Objectives:Knowledge objective: Students can understand and master some new words or phrases:blow,bury,frighting,last,sandstorm,dig and so on.Ability objective: Students can understand the new words and read passages.Emotional objective: Students can know some knowledge of sandstorms in Asia and develop the interest of learning English.Teaching Key and Difficult Points:Teaching key point:Get students to master the usage of the new vocabularies.Teaching difficult point:How to make students use the new vocabularies to communicate with others about the sandstorms in real situations.Teaching Methods: task based teaching method,pair work.Teaching Aids and tools: pictures of sandstorms,multimedia.Teaching Procedures:Step 1 Lead-in (5 min)Teacher ask students to review the new words in the text and have a competition.Step 2 Presentation(20min)1. Activity one: Word PuzzleThe teacher gives the students some key words of the text and some sentences and asks them to fill in the blanks of the sentences by using the correct form of these words.below bury frighting last(v) sandstormThere has been a_. Ask them to read the text quickly and silently and find out the sentences which contain the words and phrases.3. Activity three:Explanation to the words and phrasesThe teacher shows students three key sentences which can express the main idea of the text or the paragraph. And then ask students to translate some sentences by using these key words and phrases and do some exercises to master them.(1) If you say the word “blow”,most people think of wind.(2) If you say the phrase “cut down”, most people think of trees.(3) We are caught in a disaster, we meet some dangers.The teacher should give some explanations if necessary to help them understand the phrases, or give some skills to help them memorize them easily.Step 3 Consolidation(10min)1. Ask students to review the key words and phrases in the text again by using the form of multiply choice.2. The teacher gives students some sentences in Chinese and ask them to translate them into English.3. The teacher gives students the key sentences in the text and lets them make up some sentences to review the Teaching key points in the key sentences. Ask them to write the sentences by themselves, and then discuss the answer with their partners.4.
