Book4 Unit 1 Women of achievement教学设计一 教材分析:本节课是人教课标版 第一课时,课型是阅读课,中心话题是“非洲野生动物保护者”,介绍了保护非洲野生动物的英国著名女性学者珍。古德尔, 分别从研究工作的内容,困难和取得的成就等方面介绍了Jane Goodall在非洲原始森林中工作的情况,赞扬了她为保护野生动物所做的贡献。通过本节课的学习,让学生对文章的基本结构有清晰地了解,培养学生的实际运用英语的能力。二 学情分析:教学对象为高中一年级学生,班级整体水平中等,个别学生基础较差,但大部分学生有一定的英语基础,对线索明确的人物类文章有着浓厚的兴趣,因此教师要给学生表现的机会,帮助他们积极主动地进行英语文章的阅读。三 教学目标:1.知识目标:(1)重点词汇:achieve, behave, worthwhile, observe, respect, argue, inspire, devote.to (2)重点句子: Only after her mother came to help her for the first few months was she allowed to begin her project.2.能力目标:培养学生的阅读能力,是他们能熟练运用阅读技巧,提高获取信息和处理信息的能力。3.情感目标:通过学习,唤起学生尊重和保护动物的意识,通过学习主人公乐观的人生态度,从而使学生建立正确的价值观。四教学重点和难点:1.培养学生的阅读能力,如略读,细读,归纳内容的能力等。2.使学生学会在真实的语境中使用文中所学的词汇和句型。五教学过程:Step.I Guess: I will describe some people to you, please guess who they are.【设计说明】用英文描述一些著名女性,鼓励学生猜测他们的名字,激发学习兴趣,活跃课堂气氛。Step.Fast reading: Read the passage quickly and silently.
