I like the best. / My favourite is 3、Presentation(1)Bring a hamburger bought from KFC. Ask the pupils: Whats this? Its hamburger. Do you like the hamburger? Its made of beef. Show the picture of beef, teach beef, write it on the board.(2)Show courseware, teach other words by looking at the pictures. Show chili to review spicy, show lemon to learn sour.(3)Put the pictures on the board. Review the food names with the class. Pay attention to these similar words: sweet, salt, spicy, soup, sour.(4)Ask a student: I like spicy food. Whats your favorite food? Get him to answer: My favorite food is / I like the best. Get the students understand the differences between the words by asking them to make sentences. Ill give them examples: I like fried rice with vegetables but I dont like rice. She likes soup and beef. I need some water or juice. (4) Play king sun for the pupils to read Part B1 after the speakers.4、Practice(1) Show Transparency. Point to the pictures and talk about what is in each picture. Talk about the food they like or dislike.(2) International Food Day: We are going to have a International Food Day, Now show your favorite food to the class by using the conjunctions and, but, so, or(3) Then complete the dialogue in the text with and, but, so, or.
