Glad to meet you here and Im glad to teach you the interesting topic. First of all, please allow me to introduce this unit is about Literature for Self Understanding. This unit deals with literature and its ability to help us understand ourselves and our lives. Libraties have been not only a refuge but also a passport. With books closed answer me some questions:1. What kind of literature do you like?2. Is there a novel, short or poem that holds special meaning for you?3. What literature do you think you will remember when you are 50years old?4. What is about the special piece of literature that makes it special or memorable to you?T: The first novel Allan read was Dostoevskys Crime and Punishment, true or not?S1:False.T: The little library in the little village in northern Saskatchewan opened a new door for Allan, who grew to be a writer, true or not?S2:. True.T: Allans heart trembled as he, at the age of 56, finally found the complete works of Arthur Conan Doyle, true or not?S3: False.Step 2 ExpectionNow read the text and answer some questions. This text is about Literature for Self Understanding. Now, try and think you can make a connection to it by imagining how you will view tour present lives when your are 50years old.As the students read, have them identify three section or parts in the text where they connect their own life to the text.
