Its purpose is to change the organization into a living organism, facing any complex external changes, can stretch flexibly, can change randomly. The core idea is learning: the individual and the organization learn together, the organization in the individual through learning to complete self transcendence, based on team learning, so that the organization into learning organization. The five practice of creating a learning organization is:The first discipline: self transcendence (Personal, Mastery)The practice of self transcendence is to constantly clarify and deepen the real desires of individuals, to concentrate, to cultivate patience, and to observe reality objectively. Turning the mirror to itself is the beginning of the mental model; this is where we learn to explore images of the inner world, to make the images appear on the surface, and to look at them closely. When the group is really learning, not only does the whole community produce great results, but also the growth rate of individual members is faster than other ways of learning. The Fifth Discipline: system thinking (Systems Thinking)Only when you think deeply about the whole, not on any single part, can you understand the truth. System thinking is the integration of theory and practice the practice into one, to prevent tissue in the real practice, the practice will be classified as separate items or a passing fad. Without systematic thinking, it is impossible to explore how interaction between disciplines. Systematic thinking strengthens every other discipline, and constantly reminds us that the integration of the whole can be more effective than the total sum of the parts.Integration of the five disciplines is important to the achievement of learning organizations, but it is a challenging job because it is much harder to integrate a new tool than to apply these tools alone. But at the same time, the payoff from doing so is not measurable. The fifth discipline is the management work of Peter Senge, a famous American management scientist.
