Exercises Make some rules at home. 四点拨总结1.Dont arrive late for school.上课不准迟到。(1)此举是祈使句的否定形式。祈使句是用来表示请求或命令,建议或禁止时使用的句子。祈使句通常以动词原形开头,主语you通常省略。其否定形式是在句首加dont。如:Dont close the door, please.请别关门。 Let me have a look.让我看看。(2)arrive late for为固定搭配,意为“做某事迟到”。相当于be late for如::Dont arrive late for work. 译文为:_。2 .Ms, Miss, Mrs 之间的差别Ms用于婚姻状况不明的女子或不想区分婚否的女子的姓名前。Miss用在未婚女子的姓或姓名之前。Mrs 用于已婚女子丈夫的姓名前。3 .Do you have to wear a uniform at school? 在学校你们必须穿校服吗?have to 为固定短语,意为“不得不”,强调由客观原因造成不得不去做某事,有各种时态和人称变化,在变否定句和疑问句时借助动词do, does, did。Eg: She isnt very well these days and has to stay at home. 她这几天身体不太好,不得不呆在家里。You dont have to come here every day. 你不必天天来。注:must也意为“必须,应该,不得不”,强调由于主观原因一定要做某事,只用于一般现在时,没有时态和人称的变化,在否定句中或作否定回答时用neednt。Eg: You must finish your homework now. 你必须先在就完成家庭作业。Must I go home now? 我现在必须回家吗?-Yes, you must./No, you neednt.是的,你必须回家。/不,你不必。4.What else do you have to do?你还有别的不得不做的事吗? else作副词,表示“另外,其他”,放在something, someone, somebody等复合代词或者what, who, where, when等疑问代词或副词之后。Would yo like anything else? 你还要点别的东西吗? Where else do you want to go? 你还想去别的什么地方吗?注: else和other二者都可表示“其他的,另外的”。但else要放在所修饰的词之后,作副词;而other恰好相反,要放在所修饰词之前,作形容词。如::What else did you do yesterday? 昨天你还做了什么?
