H: (Hop. Hop. Hop. Hop.) Hi, Tortoise! Here I come and there I go! (Hop, hop, hop, hop.) Wow! What beautiful flowers!,Scene 3,(Under a tall tree. Here comes the hare.) H: Ha! I can see the finish line from here. Poor tortoise, where is he? Aha! There he is! He is far behind me! I knew it! Mmm, its so hot! Heres a tall tree. Ill just lie down and have a rest. Ive got plenty of time. The tortoise will never catch up with me.,(After a few hours, the tortoise passes the hare and continues slowly, always looking to the front, never to the left, and never to the right.)
