The algorithm identifies pairs of faces that are separated by a uniform thickness. Generic - When flat representations are required for parts where the concept of thickness does not apply, better results are obtained with the Generic algorithm Woven Material(编织材料) - Use this option when you want to flatten a part made of woven materials such as composites. With this option only the selected start face is flattened. Addition faces cannot be selected. You may select additional curves and/or points to project to the flat pattern in Layout Options. None - Select None when you want to flatten only the start face or a subset of faces of the body. You may then select additional faces to flatten in Layout Options. You must insure that the additional faces you select are connected somehow to the start face. Setting the Traversal Control to None will also prevent traversal of the part during automatic update.,Flat Pattern (二维展开),Layout Options,Flat Pattern (二维展开),Area Preserving Faces - Most of the faces in the flat pattern are of this type. Distortion Faces - You may not want some faces to be flattened as area-preserving. Instead the face may need to distort when formed, and not preserve its area. A case where you may want a distortion face, is when the face must stretch, compress, or buckle when the part is formed.,Face 7,8,9 - Starting Face Face 2,5 - Distortion Face,Face 1,2,3 - Starting Face Face 5,8 - Distortion Face,Layout Options,Projection Faces - This solver is used to project its assigned face onto the flat pattern plane without distorting adjacent faces. Bead faces are examples of projection-typed faces.,Layout Options,Flat Pattern (二维展开),Cutting Edges - In some cases, adjacent faces in the body are not intended to be adjacent in the flat pattern. To separate the faces, you may select edges where the flat pattern is to be cut.,Flat Pattern (二维展开),Layout Options,Additional Curves - In addition to the normal curves that are created for the flat pattern, you may select additional curves, edges, or points to appear in the flat pattern. The objects that are selected are projected to the body if necessary and flattened. The resulting curve or point then appears in the flat pattern at the location where the faces were flattened. Show Features - This option, when selected, will highlight all sheet metal features identified during part traversal of the part. Start Position - If the Location is set to Start Position, the flat pattern is created at the starting position. If the Location is set to WCS the starting position is mapped to the origin of the WCS.
