Help the students make the same sentences and give them more chances to say. Step 2. Talking about the picture (1a) Hold up the picture on page 1 and point at the map. Ask students to read the picture. Ask some of you to read them aloud to the class. Make the students talk about where people are from. Say: Du Chuan, where is your pen pal from?
