Im sure that you all have your own memories about the happiness of the last three years, and the people whom you want to thank for it.,Presentation,Read the following sentences and think about their structures.,语法小知识宾语从句大总结,在句子中起宾语作用的从句称为宾语从句。包括动词的宾语从句、介词的宾语从句和系表结构的宾语从句。宾语从句的连词有that、whether/if和特殊疑问词。,Presentation,Presentation,Key points: that不能省略的情况: 1. 句中出现两个或两个以上由that引导的宾语从句。 e.g. Robert said (that) he had finished reading the book that he would borrow another one. 2. 当宾语从句的主语是this,that或者被this和that修饰时。 e.g. Ann said that this book was very beautiful. 3. 当宾语从句是双宾语中的直接宾语时。 e.g. Charlie told me that he would put some signs on the envelop. 只能用whether,不能用if的情况: 1. 在具有选择意义,又有or或or not时,尤其是直接与or not连用时,往往用whether(ifor not也可以 使用)。 e.g. Let me know whether/if he will come or not.(Let me know whether or not he will come.) 2. 在介词之后用whether。 e.g. Were thinking about whether we can finish the work on time. 3. whether置于句首时,不能换用if。如:Whether this is true or not, I cant say.,Presentation,4. 若用if会引起歧义时,则用whether。如:Please let me know if you like the book可理解为: (1) Please let me know whether you like the book. (2) If you like the book, please let me know. 宾语从句的时态受主句影响,在使用时注意: 1. 当主句为一般过去时,宾语从句用相应的过去时态。 e.g. The man told me that he was looking for his son. The policemen asked the little boy where he lived. 2. 当主句是现在时态,宾语从句可根据情况选用。 e.g. He says (that) he will leave a message on her desk.
