Let Ss watch a video and think about a question.What are they talking about?2. Free talk:(1) Let Ss say something about life in the future.(2) Let Ss use “There be” to describe the classroom now. Then, lead Ss to use “There will be” to describe the classroom in the future.【设计意图】通过让学生观看视频思考问题,吸引学生的注意力,同时引出本单元的话题。再通过谈论未来生活以及现在的教室和未来的教室,让学生初步感知语法,做好新课的知识储备。Step II Pre-listening Activity 11. Ask Ss to read the words in the box together. 2. Ask Ss to look at the picture and describe it. They can use the words in the box.Activity 21. Ask Ss to look at the sentences and try to guess the answers.2. Ask Ss to listen to the recording and choose the answers to the questions.3. Ask Ss to listen to the recording again and check their answers.4. Check the answers together.【设计意图】一步步导入本节课主题,为后面的听力做准备。Step III While-listeningActivity 31. Listen and answer. (1) Ask Ss to listen to the recording and think about the question “What are they talking about?”(2) Ask Ss to answer the question and check their answers.【设计意图】通过设置一个简单的题目,让学生初步理解听力对话内容,迅速进入听的状态。2. Complete the table. (1) Ask Ss to listen to the recording again and complete the table in Activity 3.(2) Ask Ss to check the answers in pairs. Then check the answers together.3. Listen and choose.(1) Ask Ss to listen to the recording for the third time and choose the best answers. (2) Check the answers together.【设计意图】通过两种不同形式的听力练习,训练学生的细节辨认能力,培养学生的细节听力技巧。Step IV Post-listening1. Let Ss read the dialogue in silence and then role-play the dialogue. 【设计意图】通过默读对话,让学生进一步熟悉对话内容;通过角色扮演,激发学生的表现欲,同时锻炼学生口语表达的能力。2. Present some language points.(1) In twenty years time, maybe there wont be any schools. 二十年之后,也许一所学校都没有了。句中的“in + 一段时间”表示“一段时间之后”,常用于将来时,可以用 how soon 来提问。(2) They can ask their teachers questions by Internet, telephone or email. 他们可以通过互联网、电话或电子邮件向老师提问。句中的“by”表示方式,意思是“用,靠,通过”。(3) Computer wont be able to do that. 计算机无法胜任。 句中的“be able to”的意思是“能够,会,胜任”。相当于 can,比起 can 来可以用于更多的时态中。(4) Teachers wont use chalk on a blackboard and students wont use pens and paper, or erasers any more! 老师们将不再用粉笔在黑板上写字,学生们也将不再使用钢笔、纸或橡皮!句中的 “not . any more”的意思是“不再”。【设计意图】讲解本节课难点,以便学生能更好地掌握相关知识。Activity 41. Ask Ss to complete the passage with the correct form of the words and expression from the box. 2. Ask some Ss to show their answers to the whole class.3. Check the answers together.【设计意图】本活动是一个词汇练习,旨在帮助学生运用所学词汇。Activity 5 1. Show some examples to explain the word stress. 2. Ask Ss to listen to the recording and mark the stress.3. Check the answers together.4. Play the recording again and ask Ss to read after the recording.【设计意图】注重对学生语音的培养,了解单词的重音可以帮助记忆单词。Activity 6 1. Teach the rules of pronunciation of u.2. Ask Ss to listen to the recording and read these words.【设计意图】让学生熟悉元音字母“u”在单词中的基本读音并掌握其发音规则。Activity 7 1. Let Ss answer the two questions by themselves. 2. Ask Ss to ask and answer the questions in pairs.【设计意图】让学生通过回答问题,复习巩固will的用法。Activity 8 1. Work in pairs. Ask Ss to talk about what their schools will be like in ten years.2.
