1考点四 过去进行时（1）定义1. 表示过去某一时刻或某一时间段内正在进行的动作，常与表示过去的时间状语连用：then, at that time, this time yesterday, at ten yesterday 等连用，或用另一动作表示过去时间。He was cooking at six last night. 昨天晚上六点他正在做饭。 when 通常与短暂性动词连用，while 常与持续性动词连用。He was reading when I came in. 当我进来时，他正在读书。I was doing my homework while my parents were watching TV. 当我父母正在看电视时，我正在做作业。2. 过去进行时常与 always, constantly 等频率副词连用，表示过去反复发生的习惯性动作，含有说话者的赞赏、厌恶、遗憾等感情色彩。Alice was always changing her mind. 爱丽丝总是在改变主意。（2）结构1. 肯定式：主语+ was/were+ V-ingwas not (wasnt)+V-ing2. 否定式：主语+were not(werent)+V-ingHe was not cooking at six last night.3. 一般疑问句：Was/ Were+主语+V-ingWas he cooking at six last night?
