We have learned Unit 9 Section A, Ss have learned: When was it invented?What was it invented for? And they can talk about the inventor, uses of some inventions. From Section B (1a-2c) ,we have learned the history of potato chips. Today we are going to learn how to say and write the history of tea and flying disk, after that ,they can describe their own inventions.Part 2 Teaching aims1Aims of the knowledge:（1）To know the spelling of some words and usage of some phrases.（2）To learn The Past Tens Passive Voice（3）To talk about the histories of some inventions and design their own inventions.2Aims of the ablilities:（1）To improve the ability of getting information by reading.（2）To improve the ability of writing the story.3Aims of the emotion:（1）To know the importances of inventions.（2）To understand they should study hard to achieve their dreams.Part 3. Part 5 Teaching methodsIn this topic, I will use Role playing and Discussion Teaching Methods and Task-based language Teaching. I design some tasks to help the students learn. I think if I want to improve the students oral English, I should give them enough chances to practice and I will use pair work, group work to let the students take an active part in all kinds of activities. Ss sould fill in the blanks with some words. Its about the history of potato chips. From this step ,they can show The Past Tens Pas sive Voice: waswere + done.Step PresentationThe purpose is to develop the skills of skimming and how to gain the main idea of the articles.1 Show Ss the history of tea.I should say like this:Itsaid that tea was invented by accident.This beverage was discovered over three thousand years ago. According to an Ancient Chinese legend, the emperor Shen Nong Discovered tea when he was boiling drinking water over an open fire. Some leaves from a nearby bush fell into the water and remained there for some time.The emperor noticed that the leaves in the water produced a pleasant smell. Shen Nong taste the hot mixture. It was quite delicious. And in this way, tea was invented.Then I can show the new words to Ss.2.Ss read the new words together.3.Ask students to read text and answer the following questions: What is the article about ?
