Some people think the high sales of products reflect the power of advertising instead of the consumers demand (not the real needs of the society). To what extent do you agree or disagree?Essay 1:Nowadays, there are an increasing number of commercial advertisements on the television or on other press. Some people believe that it is those advertisements that drive the high sales of products.One of the reasons of that conjecture is the idol effect. In almost every advertisement for a product, famous stars, such as singers, actors, even sports stars, are invited to advertise the product. People would buy it because of their favorite idols, although they do not necessarily need the product. Another reason is that products usually look good-qualified and excellent on advertisements, thus inducing consumers to buy them without hesitation. The advertising plays a role in leading people to believe their products are the best and perfect. In addition, if a product is popular and is recommended by many friends and colleagues, people would also like to have a try. This is called blind action where customers buy products due to the influence from people around them.However, there are also opinions against this attitude. One is that high sales often results from the product itself, rather than advertisements. If a product is of high quality and practical value, then consumers would absolutely like it. Also, it is the consumers who decide whether or not to buy the product and they are restricted by their disposable income. This means they cannot choose to buy whatever they see from advertisements. Furthermore, each individual has his or her own buying habits, which cannot easily be affected by the advertising. They are unlikely to purchase a product which is not catering to their spending habits no matter how popular it is.Overall, it is fairly true to say that advertisements more or less contribute to the high sales of a product. But advertising is not the only cause. People should learn to form their own buying habits and strong views towards a product, thus avoiding negative effects from advertising.Essay 2:In currently weather, the best seller products are affected from over advisement. Some products are not necessary for life indeed. Lives need only fundamental products such as clothes, medicines and foods.Today, every manufacturer usually dumps their fund into advertisement. They try to perform their products in every ways such as television station, radio stations, internet and brochure. Some of their advertisements show qualifications of products over than real. The colorful shades of colors in advertising papers are attracted people to interest in products. People, therefore, buy such product even it is not important in life. For example, the value of mobile phone is to call for and receive the call but people always buy mobile which has multiple functions like camera, social media and some of them still have no ideas how to use such functions.Moreover, we are fallen for hidden advertisement via actresses, actors or pop-stars. These groups of people always use the extravagant products and show off them via social media. They get the prizes of showing from entrepreneurs, on the other hand; other people pay for such garbage.To live our life, we are only needs five kinds of these following things: there are foods, clothes, medicines and dwellings. Its too easy to keep life simple as well as it can be. But people males it complicated with these extravagant things.I am strongly agreed with the statement that the societies do not need the popular consumer good. The high sales of them come from much of advertisements. Life needs only basement of consumer goods. People believe in the over advertisement. To avoid these mattes, people have to think before spending money. It is vital to your life or it is pleasant to your life.Essay 3:Advertisement encourages customers to buy the products and to increase high income for company. Having said and done, it makes people to purchase many products which are not notable in daily life. I think that pros and cons of these views which are discussed in this essay.Advertising is the best way to introduce a latest product which is still little known in the market. Throughout the world, promoting is a key part of modern business which is using many media promotions such as commercial break, billboard and poster. Samsung Company which has used twitter, online media promotion, tells customers about their products and they have many followers as many as one nation in twitter, for instance. Admittedly, there is a power of advertising to gain popularity of product and to give a dramatic increase of sales, because many people take interested in the products.However, critics claim that advertising manipulates people to follow the new products which are not really needed in daily activity as the basic needs.
