Can use some structures correctly.Key structure: would do sth; 教学难点To understand the conversationTo describe what one would do in imaginary situations.教学方法PWP Communicative教学用具Multi-Media (or Tape recorder, OHP)教学过程步骤 教师活动 学生活动 设计思想Step 1 Lead inShow some pictures and ask, “Imagine you could have enough money, what would you do?”Talk about the pictures on the screen.“I would ”用贴近生活的图片引入主题: 1. 描述想象的生活 2. “would” 的用法Step 2Learning new words.Ask the students to read new words according phonetic symbols.Ask the students to read new words.Ask the students to readsentences and translate them.Choose anyone to read.通过音标单词句子,让学生对生词不断复现,以加强记忆。Step 3 ListeningPlay the recording and have them listen carefully.Show the table, ask the students to finish it after listening.Listen carefully and fill in the table.将课本听力内容进行整合,一是为了降低听力难度,二是为了适应中考题型。Step 4Learning the dialogue.Play the recording and have them listen.After listening, ask thestudents to say, “Whatinformation can you get?”Just listen and find out some useful information.让学生有意识地听,找出所听到的内容,“无任务听力法”往往使学生的精力比较放松,容易找到语言的突破点并达到尊重个体差异的目的.Let the students to say something about the dialogue and get them to know some friends.Talk about the useful information.将学生听到的信息加以整理, 对话中人物较多, 帮助学生梳理每个主要人物对理解对话是个关键点.Play a game: “Who said the sentence?”Try to find out who said these sentences.通过一个小游戏帮助学生对对话中包含有”would”的句子初步了解. 以达到大致了解对话主要内容的目的.Ask some students to read the dialogue.Some students read the dialogue, then finish exercises.通过阅读和做习题让学生进一步了解对话主要内容Play the recoding and ask the students to follow it.Listen carefully and repeat. Then find some useful 学生跟读课文主要让学生模仿原声,同时找对话sentences. 中能”为我所用”的句子以突破难点.Step 5 Speaking Ask the students to make up a dialogue according some information.Make up a dialogue in groups.用编对话的形式检查学生对would 用法,并培养学生的爱国情感.Blackboard Design:Module 10 Perfect holidayUnit 1 I would go to London. Revise the use of “sothat”. Make sentences while looking at the pictures.2. Present the homework of students. “If you are a teacher”Show their homework by OHP, have the student present at the front of the class.设计意图:这个环节既可以检查学生的回家作业情况,又是对所学内容的。在学生有所准备的情况下,一些优良学生的陈述将会是可以有所期待的。Step 2 Discussion (pair work or group work)1. Discussion 1: The 2008 Olympic Games is coming. Students will have finished their exam by then. Have them discuss: How would you watch the games? Would you go to Beijing to watch games? 2. Discussion 2: Ask student: “Have you ever seen the film Home Alone?” If your parents are not at home, would you look after yourself? Would your life be ok?设计意图:通过两个讨论,目的之一是为了在前一节课的基础上,学生由已经会说would 句型,到让学生能较自由地表达,表达追求准确和流畅。目的之二是承上启下的作用,第二个由小鬼当家引出的话题所讨论的内容是书本阅读材料的相关内容,这样可以起到 pre-read 的作用。Step 3 Read and learn Lets have a look at two students-Zheng Chengyu and Sima Yige, what about their home alone?1. Students scan the passage, help them find out the best summary of this passage.2. Listen to the passage, and then try to answer the questions of activtty3.3. Check the answer with the students.4. Give some explanations where necessary.设计意图:首先浏览全文,对全文有个大概印象,然后对全文进行精读,理解全文内涵。学生学习相关的阅读策略。Step 4 write1.Write down in the table, what you would do? What you wouldnt do? And write down a few sentences. Students can finish it by discussing with their deskmates.设计意图:由说进入到句子的书写,力图循序渐进。Step 5 Discussion1. Your parents have done much for you in your life.
