Writing: Task One1.The first pie chart shows the percentage of the worlds population in each of six continents Asia, Europe, South America, Australasia and North America, and the second pie chart shows wealth of these continents in percentages.Asia has more than half of the population of all the continents together, at 59%, while Europe is the next largest with 16%, followed by Africa (11%), North America (8%), South America (5.5%) and Australasia (0.5%).In terms of wealth, North America is the richest continent, with 35%, followed by Europe with 30%. The other continents have much less wealth, with South America having 14%, followed by Asia (13%), Australasia (5%) and Africa (2%).It can be seen from the pie charts that the continent with the largest population (Asia) has only a small percentage of the wealth (13%), while the continent with the greatest wealth (North America) has only eight percent of the population. North America and Europe combined have nearly two thirds of the wealth, while they have only 24 percent of the population. Africa is the poorest continent, despite having 11 percent of the population, while Australasia, with only a tiny percentage of the population have five percent of the wealth.2.The table shows a web-based companys statistics of the number of goods sold to their online customers during December. The goods are divided into two categories electronic and other. The electronic goods are further divided into three sub-categories computers and software items, digital cameras and MP3players. Likewise, the customers are divided into three age groups teenagers, adults and older adults.In the electronic goods category only a small number of digital cameras (172) were sold to teenagers. However, significantly more computers and software items (306), and MP3players were sold to them. Most electronic goods items were sold to adults over four hundred and thirty MP3players were sold to this group of customers. In contrast to this, only four MP3players were sold to older adults but more digital cameras were sold to older adults than to teenagers. In all three the categories, the number of electronic goods sold to older adults are dramatically lower than the number sold to adults.According to the statistics in the table, a total of 2951 items were sold during December. Of this number, nearly four times more electronic goods than other goods were sold.3The bar chart shows the preferences that boys and girls have for studying certain language components online. The information is categorized into six components, namely reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary and grammar. The preferences are indicated in percentages.There is a significant difference in the percentage of boys who prefer to study Reading compared to Writing online. Eight percent of boys prefer to study Reading online, whereas only about 10% of them prefer to study Writing online. However, there is no difference in the percentage of boys who prefer to study Listening and Speaking online (40%). Studying Vocabulary has the highest preference about 90%. Boys also show a high preference (80%) for studying Grammar online.According to the chart, an average percentage of girls prefer to study Speaking and Vocabulary online. They also show a high preference for studying Reading, Listening and Grammar online. Almost 80% to 90% of girls prefer to study these components online. In contrast to this, only 20% of them prefer to study Writing online.As can be seen from the chart, more girls than boys prefer to study Writing, Listening, Speaking and Grammar online. However, more boys than girls prefer to study Reading and Vocabulary online.
