It says that many famous sites of historical interest have started to increase the fees during peak travel seasons. In my opinion, famous sites of historical interest should charge higher fees during peak travel seasons. First, charging higher fees during peak travel seasons is a method to balance the application and need. Higher fees would decrease the number of tourists. In peak travel seasons, most people have enough time to go where they want to go. Famous sites of historical interest become their destinations. Too many people deepen the press of environment, hotels and lives in sites. They would make a lot of wastes and noises which would pollute the environment and influence the others lives. Too many people would cause the trouble in booking a hotel. These all affect the environment of sites. Second, a lot of people go to travel at the same time. It would increase the number of cars. Traffic would be in a very slow situation. Traffic jam and accidents would rise in a high number. It would put our families and lives in a dangerous condition. Third, from the view of tourists themselves. Too much people, shortage of hotels and traffic trouble would influence their feelings and mood. They cannot see the beautiful scenery. What they only can see is people. Sometimes, they even cannot get a safe place to live in. The noises would influence the quiet atmosphere. In a word, everything is out of control. To sum up, famous Chinese sites of historical interest should charge higher fees during peak travel seasons. This behaviour would not only protect the environment, but also be benefit for our safeness and our good moods. I was in the Confucius Temple for this years Lantern Festival, and I regret that decision till now. There were so many people and it was absolutely impossible to enjoy anything while swamping in the sea of people. If there were an entrance fee to this resort I suppose the situation could be much better. After such experience, I am totally for the proposal of charging tourist higher entry fees during peak travel seasons. The most direct benefit of this action is that popular travel spots would not be packed with thousands of people which are far beyond their reception ability. Local people, to start with, would plan their visits to the nearby resorts in weekends, avoiding the peak season, and the high costs that come with it. People with vacations too, would consider taking their yearly off in a wise time, bringing down the travel expense. As a result, visitors to famous sites and historical interest could be redistributed to a more average proportion through out the year. With less people, visitors could finally be relaxed, be close the nature, and thus reach the very essential goal of the trip. The pure benefit of price raising is to the visitors themselves. The resorts could also enjoy privileges of the action. With entry fees raising in peak seasons, the revenue of these resorts could be expecting a noticeable increase. These money could be a great helper in protecting the natural or historical heritages within the area. For a very long time, our country has been throwing money into culture protection, yet that were never enough, for this is such an effort- consuming project, while our country is still in a period emphasizing the development of industry and economy. However, culture protection is important as always, and each of us shall bear the pride and shoulder the responsibility. A raise of ten or twenty yuan in entry fees may not mean a lot for an individual, but it could be much if the money is multiplied with one of the largest populations in the world. Considering from another angle, culture is the treasure of a nation and we are the owner of the nation; thus culture is everyone treasure if paying higher fees in pe
