With the development of the whole society, the changes of education ideas and the development of education system, the status of art education continues to increase in education system. But as an important subject of humanities, art education hasnt been paid much attention to in rural areas, “Full-time compulsory education art curriculum standards“ (“art curriculum standards“ for short)“ has not been well implemented in the reform of rural basic education, there are many problems to be solved. As an art teacher in a junior middle school who has been teaching for a decade in the front line, The author feels a lot, trying to explore and solving the problems effectively. This article mainly adopts the methods of literature, questionnaires, interviews, and make full use of the convenient network(telephone, QQ chat with micro letter) to conduct research on the status of Tang County junior art education in rural issues. The auothor has reflected many imperfections factors of traditional art education according to “art curriculum standards “. As an art teacher, the author has more than ten years experience in rural junior middle school , who can analyze the main problems and causes objectively and put forward the corresponding strategies and measures. Contact with rural reality closely. Carry out new curriculum idea in art education. Strengthen administrators attention to art education. Optimize the art teachers own knowledge structure and professionalism. Make efforts to improve art teaching facility conditions. Make full use of local resources. We need the upper educational departments support, especially the emphasis on the leadership and cooperation of school, which is the cornerstone of solving the art education problem of rural junior middle school.
