1task6 讲课内容总结题讲课内容总结题 10.22 In this lecture, the professor introduces two disadvantages of new technology. He gives two examples to explain the two disadvantages. The first example is remote controller. People often pick up CD controller by mistake when they want to change the TV channel. Recently, people invent a universal remote controller, but it takes quite a few hours to set up the program and people must learn by heart the button function, at last, they are confused. The second example is cell phone. Cell phone is becoming smaller and smaller, it is difficult to press the right buttons, people often make the wrong numbers. So these are two examples given by the professor to explain the disadvantages of new technology. 10.28 In this lecture, the professor introduces two ways arts have impact on childrens development. The first way is arts can provide a platform for children to express their feelings. For example, the children cant pick up the word proud until 3 years old, but they can express their feelings by drawing pictures during 1 or 2 years old. The second way is arts can help children to develop concentration. For example, children are making small cars with clay. Although they fail at the first time, they will keep trying again until the probably looking car is produced, in this way, they can concentrate on tough task in future. So these are the two ways arts have impact on childrens development.10.29 In this lecture, the professor introduces two ways in which discoveries and inventions are made in human history. The first way is intentionally, the majorities of all great inventions are discovered intentionally. For example, people had to take two pairs of glasses wherever they went, in this situation, bi-focus glasses were invented and became very popular among many people immediately, because of its convenience. The second way is accidentally, some technical inventions are discovered as an accident. For example, when X-ray was discovered in the lab, people didnt know what this discovery meant and how to put this discovery into application. So these are two ways in which discoveries and inventions are made in human history. 11.17 In this lecture, the professor introduces the effects of accidents on poem writing. She gives two examples to explain the effects. The first example is the creation of the poem To Be Honest. When Alan Poe stayed at home and did nothing, he accidentally noticed two men quarreling outside his 2window, and their curses and bad words inspired him to create the poem To Be Honest. The second example is the skill of word combination. People prepare a dozen of paper, and write a different word on each paper, then they cast them into the air and wait them to fall, they pick up two pieces at random, the combination of the two words can make senses to inspire them.12.10 In this lecture, the professor introduces two methods of reinforcing behavior. For example, you hate to get up early, so you must find something to encourage you to get up early. The first method is by positive stimulus. You can reward yourself with a nice breakfast, thus you will get up early. The second method is by negative stimulus. You can cut things you dont like out of your routine, for example, if you dont like taking shower in early morning, you can take shower in the evening instead, thus, when you get up early, you will feel better, because you cut the things you dont like out of your morning schedule. So these are methods of reinforcing behavior.1 In this lecture, the professor introduces two reasons of the extinction of dinosaur. The first reason is the collision of the earth with the asteroid, thus a lot of dust covered the sunlight, the plants can not process photosynthesis, and thus many animals feeding on plants died, finally the dinosaur died out because of lack of food. The second reason is lots of the radiation of the sun on the earth, thus the earth became warming, and the high temperature made more male dinosaur come into the world, thus the dinosaur cant reproduce normally and finally died out. So these are two reasons of the extinction of dinosaur. 2 In this lecture, the professor introduces two effects of visual elements in arts. The first effect is the colors effect, for example red makes people exciting, even angry, but blue makes people cool. The second effect is the textures effect, for example although the texture in the painting can not be touched, you can feel that its rough. So these are two effects of visual elements in arts. In addition, the professor also mentions that artists often combine vision and texture, for example, when the painting is the mixture of red color and rough texture, you can feel the wild plot in the painting. 3 In this lecture, the professor introduces two models to process the information. Nowadays, there are more and more information in the market, so it is difficult for merchants t
