Reaction to Dealing with AIDSThe other day, I read a narration named Dealing with AIDS. Tears welled up from my heart after reading it. What the writer did for his friend touched me a lot.The writers best friend of ten years, David, was confronted with an unexpected disease, AIDS, and lived in anguish. In spite of the stress and rumor, the writer never turned his back on David. No matter what happened, the writer maintained a positive attitude to his friend and never gave up to the fate. Although David gone with the wind later, the author kept him alive through learning and spreading the knowledge about AIDSWhen it comes to friendship, many memories might appear in our brain. But will you give a hand to a gravely ill friend without hesitation? The answer may be unclear. The writer and his friends did give us a deeply reflection of friendship. Friendship is like water, which is tasteless but essential to our life. For years, one incident is still fresh in my mind. Once I was ill and one of my friends sent me to the hospital and stayed with me without having a rest, which moved me a lot. Just as the saying goes: a friend in need is a friend indeed. I think I am a lucky dog because I have a real friend in my side.When people around David and the writer knew what had happen to them, they become estrange from them. But what a patient needs is help and warmth rather than discriminate. This reminds me of one thing happened several months ago. A girl wanted to suicide for her boyfriend parted her. When she was standing on the top of the building, people summoned to watch for fun and even shouted “jump”. I dont know. Whats wrong with our society? People become more and more indifferent and powerless today.I felt shocked as well when I knew that David got such a disease for his unprotected sex. He was just a 17-year-old boy in senior high school. As a teenager, it is important for us to handle the ability which helps distinguish whether we behave correct or not. We should hold ourselves in with right standard. Without any regret medicine in our pocket, we just obtained a single ticket before came to the world. We must cherish our lives without doubt.In a word, everyone should pay more attention to their friends, sick one in particular, and look before you leap. My view on smart phoneNowadays, more and more people use smart phone. According to a statistical report from Gartner, in the third quarter of 2012, the amount of smart phone selling increased 47%. Smart phone are in vogue worldwide. However, just as the saying goes: “every coin has its two sides”, we should have two handles for that trend.Beyond doubt, smart phone has its pros and cons. For one thing, it enriches our life. Smart phone is the perfect combination of pocket computer and telephone, which enable us to surf the Internet easily. The latest survey from The Pew Internet showed that more than half of the users gained health information through smart phone. Nevertheless, for another, smart phone also has its shortcomings, one of which is arousing criminals. Many lawless people take advantage of its powerful functions, for example, through obtaining information on micro letter, they committed a crimes.In short, we couldnt follow the trend blindly. As a teenager, I expect that we could use smart phone more flexible by making full use of its advantages and overcoming the defects.
