Unit 2 Reading Maybe you should learn to relax! 教学设计一教材分析本节课是一堂读写课,它的主旨是培养学生的阅读策略,提高学生综合的运用能力,使学生能够学会从文章中获取信息、加工、处理信息、输出信息的能力。通过大量的阅读和不同形式的任务阅读的训练,进一步提高学生听、说、读、写的综合素质能力,并通过延伸,使学生学会从课内走向课外,从自主学习走向合作探究,由教师的“扶杖而行”最后达到“弃杖而行”达到“学以致用”这个最高境界。通过前几节课学习的句型 What should I do? You shouldcould,进一步加深对目标语言的理解和运用. 二 学情分析本节阅读课内容非常贴近现代学生的现实生活,从而学生非常感兴趣,愿意参与各个任务。但是初三学生两极分化的现象特别严重,究其原因:一是,初三词汇量大,部分学生背不下来,没有词汇作基础,阅读对学生来说就成“无源之水,无本之木;二是, 即使你把单词背下来,不懂阅读策略和技巧仍然不能取得好成绩。基于上述情况,阅读课应立足本单元的基本词汇和语法,把输入的知识转化为输出的能量,不断开拓学生的阅读分析能力,从而进一步提高学生的写作能力,提高输出效率。三 教学目标知识目标:掌握文章中的重点词汇;掌握略读、跳读、速读等基本阅读技巧;运用略读、跳读、速读等基本阅读技巧和段落标记等方法进行层次阅读能力目标:提高利用阅读技巧阅读文章,提炼文章主旨大意的能力,以及写作能力。情感目标:通过本节课的学习,让学生能从心里面感受到父母给予的爱,同时学会与父母进行交流,解决生活中的问题。四教学重难点重点:阅读技巧的训练难点;输入的知识如何变成语言的输出。五教学资源多媒体课件六教学过程(一)Pre-reading.Step 1. warming up What after-school activities can you think of? 交流完了之后给出一些图片。【思路点拨】让学生交流自己所想到的课外活动,增加彼此的了解。图片的展示更加能激发学生的兴趣,进一步唤醒学生的思维。Step 2 .Leading-inShow two pictures, and ask: What does he she do after school? What about you ? Are you feel tired? So I think you should relax.【思路点拨】通过观看图片进行对比,让学生说出自己的心里话,老师抓住时机对其进行教育,一是教育他们努力学习,二是让他们学会放松,引出本节课话题 Maybe you should learn to relax.Step3.Reading Skills阅读集中营1.速读以求理解2.带着问题复读3.细读解决疑难【思路点拨】在阅读之前让学生了解阅读技巧,同时了解本节课的大体环节。(二)While-readingStep 1. 速读以求理解.(独立完成)Read the whole passage, answer the questions.1.Are western students also under too much pressure?2. On the other hand, they also need time and freedom to relax , and they need time to do things by themselves.【思路点拨】阅读课重点应该在传授和运用阅读技巧上。本节课通过速读、复读、细读三步,学生会经过由易到难的环节来理解文章。最后根据第四段和第五段进行对话练习,能更好的让学生把输入的内容变成语言的输出。英译汉环节的设计主要培养学生的理解能力和翻译能力,与任务型阅读题型相符。(三) Post-readingStep 1.引导.Think about the questions:1.Do your parents love you?
