第三讲：记叙文的时态正确把握记叙文中的时态，关键问题 是根据提示确定“时间立足点”：现在 、过去和将来。围绕这三个立足点， 根据行为、状态的情况采用“一般”、“ 进行”、“完成”等相应的形式，从而形 成“一般现在”、“现在进行”、“现在完 成”、“一般过去”、“过去进行”、“过 去完成”、“一般将来”、“将来进行”、 “将来完成”等常用时态形式。某日在友人吴刚家聚会，遇到阔别十 年的朋友王平。他告诉我他来参加一 个重要的会议，并邀请我去他下榻的 宾馆一晤。我答应一定去看他。提示：这段短文的时间立足点是一般 过去时，其中如“遇到”、“告诉”、“邀 请”等动词用一般过去时；而“阔别”、 “来”发生在“遇到”之前，用过去完成 时；“看望”在“遇到”之后，用过去将 来时。例一：The other day ,I went to attend an evening party in Wu Gangs house where I met Wang Ping , an old friend of mine. We had not seen each other for ten years. He told me that he had come to attend an important meeting.
