When animals are killed by hunters for humans to use for clothes, decorations, food or medicine, those animals can become endangered. A good example of this is the tiger. Some people believe that by eating tiger meat, taking tiger bone medicine or drinking tiger wine, they can be much healthier. As a result, there are very few tigers left in the wild.When people continue to hunt animals that are endangered, these animals may become extinct. If too many kinds of animals become extinct, this can change the earth in a terrible way. The problem with sharks can show this. In Asia, it is very popular to eat shark fin soup. Many kinds of sharks are already endangered because of this. If sharks become extinct, millions of fish in the oceans will become sick and die. This will mean a lot less fish for dolphins and sea lions to eat, perhaps making them endangered also. It can also mean that millions of fishermen around the world will have no job to support their families. The power to stop the killing of endangered animals is in your hands!
