He made the position of landscape painting as same as history painting and portrait painting.He was a hardworking artist, he still held a paint brush dipped pigment when he was died. He spent his whole life on art.Turner was a brave pessimist, he liked to show violent and heavy scene in his painting. This is one of his famous painting by oil The Wreck of a Transport Ship.When the transport ship in the painting was meeting a storm, Turner was on this ship.
