In this lesson, the Ss need to master more useful expressions about learning how to learn, like “the way of doing, the way to do sth., end up”. And they will go on to consolidate the structures “verb + by with gerund” and “gerunds as subjects” by finishing reading, speaking and interviewing tasks about how to study English better.
