Analysis of Characters,Mr.Bennet,Mr. Bennet is an English gentleman with an estate,Mrs.Bennet,Mr. Bennets wife ,a noisy and foolish woman .,Elizabeth Bennet,Jane Bennet,Lydia Bennet,Kitty Bennet,Mary Bennet,Mr. Collins,Jane Bennet,Beautiful Mrs. Bennet thinks Jane is the most beautiful one among her daughters. Mr. Bingley considers her as “the most beautiful creature I ever beheld” Kindhearted Elizabeth says “All the world are good and agreeable in your eyes. I never heard you speak ill of a human being in my life. Jane is such a kindhearted person and she will never have sick opinion about others. Restrained Jane does not show her love easily because she is restrained. It is her attitude makes Darcy mistake her feeling of love to Bingley, and also the reason she makes herself heartbroken. intelligent,Four stars,In my opinion, Jane Bennet is a beautiful, kindhearted and restrained woman. As an unmarried woman, her reserve really shows she is educated; but in front of her love, it almost makes her miss her true love. It is surely her shortcoming. Even she is not as smart as Elizabeth, she is still a welcome character in the novel.,Elizabeth,Elizabeth Bennet,She is lovely, clever, intelligent . She is her fathers favorite and inherits his intelligence and wit. She can also understand the deep meaning of any talk. She can talk with her partner humorously,Brave She will express her own opinion without following others. She will not surrender even before a rich and high class person. If anybody wants to spoil her rights, she will surely protect it with her bitter words.,Elizabeth is smart, brave and thinking. This enables her to have the opinion on the issue of love, and obtain happiness. She insists that true love is the foundation of an ideal marriage. To her, love was saint and pure.,Mr. Darcy,Fitzwilliam Darcy, proud He often appears proud to strangers. his class has given him a born pride. 1、his social background Darcy is a noble descent and he inherits an enormous amount of property. At the same time, he has been used to thinking and acting with pride and dignity. 2、 Darcy has been a spoiled child Darcys mother passed away when he was young, the family influence makes him more brave and independent. 3、his nature impresses people with coldness and indifference which are the evidence of pride.,Fitzwilliam Darcy,Darcy is my favorite person of this book, not only because he is handsome but also his character. Being an elegant but proud wealthy landlord, Darcy gradually realizes his defects, reflects his pride and superior attitude and improves his personality. His affection to Elizabeth also changes from superficial attraction to understanding and respect. It is not easy for him to overcome it. But his effort in making progress actually wins for him love and trust.,Mr. Collins,Mr. Collins,He is rather foolish and conceited,“It is common for young ladies not to accept a mans wishes. Sometimes their refusal is repeated a second or third time.” “You confuse me !I have said nothing to you that can be taken as an encouragement. I dont know how to express my refusal any more strongly.”,He is far more interested in getting married than in who his wife would actually be.,Elizabeth points out in Chapter 32 that Mr. Collinss friends “may well rejoice in his having met with one of the very few sensible women who would have accepted him, or have made him happy if they had.”,Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel. I can learn a lot from this book. I like the marriage between Darcy and Elizabeth. In my opinion, marriage should be based on real love between the lovers.,Thanks,
