Sum up the listening skills.Tip One: Try to guess the answers before listening.Tip Two: Pay attention to the key words.Tip Three: Write the first letter of the word if time is limited. eg: sswimming vvolleyball 3. Listen and choose.T: Mr Wu is asking his students about their favourite sports. Listen to the conversation and help him to write the correct letters in the boxes.4. Ask and answer.T: Please talk about the students favourite sports in pairs. One asks, and the other answers.A: What sport does like?B: She/He likes 5. Listen and complete. Listen and find out the answers to this question: What do Sandy and Millie like doing after school? 3. Listen and judge. T: Listen to the dialogue again and decide whether the following statements are true or false. (1) Music makes Sandy feel great. (2) Sandy also likes playing volleyball. (3) Millie likes listening to music. (4) Millie plays volleyball with friends. (5) Both Millie and Sandy read a lot of interesting books. 【设计意图:通过完成不同的教学任务,帮助学生熟悉对话内容,同时也为之后的编对话任务带来一定的文本输入。】Step 4 Consolidation1. Make a dialogue. Make a survey. T: Work in a group of 4 to ask your group members something about their hobbies. Write a note to report to the whole class. You have to work together and choose one to give the report.【设计意图:让学生由课本的对话,过渡至谈论自己,让他们就彼此放学后的活动这一话题进行对话练习,发挥了语言的语用功能。最后让学生以之前的听力材料作为输入内容,四人一组,进行组内业余爱好的调查,形成报告,汇报给全班,让学生得以在真实的语言环境中进行口语操练。】V.
