Hexagonal Design1. Draw a 2cm border around a sheet of art paper.2. Using a hexagonal template, trace around the shape in the centre of the page. Continue to draw hexagons, starting from the central shape, around the rest of the page, allowing some hexagons to be only half or partially seen at the edge of the page.3. From one side in each hexagon, draw some abstract shape inside each hexagon, ensuring that no two abstract shapes are back to back.4. Paint the shapes using any desired colour scheme. Suggestions could be: cold colours; warm colours; primary colours; secondary colours; complimentary colours; tints and hues of a particular colour etc.5. Paint the border black.6.
