Ask and teach the clothes and the colours. Whats she wearing? Whats the pullover like?2.Write the headings “Clothes” and “Colours” on the board.1.Brainstorm clothes and colours they know in groups.2.Add more words about them.教学环节教师活动学生活动备注Step2.Lead-in1.Ask the class where they shop for clothes, food, vegetables and fruit.2.Use pictures to teach vegetables, fruit and groceries. Ask where they buy them.3.Elicit answers from the whole class. Ask Ss to spell some words as T write them on the board.1.Look at the pictures and match the shops with them.2.Look at the things in the box and decide where they would buy them in pairs.Step3.Listen-ing.1.Ask Ss to read the questions and try to guess the answers in A2.2.Play the recording once.3.Play the recording twice more. Stop after each time to give Ss time to check their answers.4.Ask where Betty and Lingling are in A35.Introduce language for shopping. Elicit the questions they can ask when they buy clothes, e.g. “Can I help you? What size do you wear? What color do you like?”6.Do the same for food. Elicit vocabulary about weight or amounts (e.g. kilo, half a kilo) and the questions “How much do you want? How much is it?”7.Play the recording.8.Play the recording again.9.Play the recording for the third time.10.Ask Ss to read the conversation and check the answers in A4.1.Look at the pictures and guess what Betty wants to buy.2.Just listen for the answers. Then read the questions again and try to answer them.3.Pairs check the answers.4.Model and repeat the answer chorally, “Id like a pullover.”5.Pairs practice.6.Repeat the vocabulary and questions.7.Listen to answer “Where do Betty and Lingling go?”8.Listen to check the amounts and the price of the things while they read it in their books.9.Listen and read again to complete the table in A4.
