You / He (She) should lie down and rest.教学难点第三人称单数谓语的正确使用。教法导航创设情境,帮助学生更好地理解课文。小游戏,两人或多人小组活动。学法导航以学生为主体,调动学生的积极性去主动探求知识。教学准备图片,视频,练习。教学过程 Step 1 GreetingsGreet the class as usual.Step2Revision Ask the students to act out as many dialogues about health as possible in pairs.Step 3 DiscussionShow the picture of an old man lying on the side of the road and ask the students to guess what happened? Help the students to answer:Maybe he was seriously ill. He may be knocked down by a car. Then ask them:If you meet with this situation,what will you do? Ask them to discuss in groups. Then ask some students to report their answers. Step 4 Reading Say:Read the passage please and answer the questions:How did the bus driver and passengers do with the old man? Do you think it comes from a newspaper or a book? How do you know? After several minutes,ask some students to report their answers.3b Then get the students to read the passage again and check the things that happened in the story. Step 5 Pair workWork in pairs and discuss the questions in 3c. Then ask some students to report their answers.Step 6 Group workGet the students to work in groups to act out what happened in the passage. After several minutes,ask some groups to act it out in front of the class.Step 7 Grammar FocusSay:When you have health problems,you may say “I have a .” When other people have problems,you may give them advice like “You should .” or “You shouldnt .” Please look at the pictures on the screen and make up dialogues in pairs like this:A:Whats the matter? B:I have a stomachache. A:You shouldnt eat so much next time. After several minutes,ask some pairs to act out their dialogues.Then show the picture of Ben and say:A:Whats the matter with Ben? B:He hurt himself. He has a sore back. A:He should lie down and rest. Ask some pairs to repeat it. Then show more pictures and get the students to practice in pairs. Step 8 Guessing gameWork in groups. One student mimes a problem and the other students guess the problem and give advice like this:A:Do you have a toothache? B:Yes, I do. C:Does he / she have a toothache? D:Yes,he / she does. He / She should see a dentist and get an X-ray. Then ask some groups to act out the dialogue in front of the class.Step 9 HomeworkMake up dialogues in 4c in groups after class.课堂作业Do the exercises in 4a and 4b.教学反思通过两人或多人小组活动、小游戏、表演等多种形式,让学生在不知不觉中学习并掌握知识,学生们学得快,记得也牢。2
