Show the edition of procedure card inside the tester., Get into a stable display widow （1）. （接着进入一种稳定的显示窗口（1）：）,（1）,Actually, the tester has already got into the 1st work mode at this time -the rapid data transfer, you can have 3 kinds of choices: input address code directly, enter the electric control system that you want; press the HELP key and help yourself to seek the address code； press the C key, select another 2 kinds of work modes, namely instrument self-diagnosis and search service station (sale company) code. We will introduce the three choices respectively.,For the first selection, if you have already known the electric control system code on vehicle, such as 01-engine electronic system, 02- automatic transmission electronic system, 03- ABS, 25-immobilize, then input the address code, can get into the system immediately, select a function code again, can carry on malfunction diagnosis.,For the second selection, if you dont know the address code, but desire of testing the system, then you can press the HELP key according to the hint of screen. The screen will then show 38 address codes with 80s. See table 7-1. After all address codes one by one in order showing 1 time, the screen will return to the window of selecting address code (window 1).,For the 3rd selection, press the C key, the tester can get into another 2 kinds of work modes, certainly can also return to the 1st work mode and the screen shows window(2).,（2）,If you press one key, the screen will return to widow (1); if you press HELP key, the screen will show the keyboard function with 23s:,USING THE V.A.G1552,After the contents of “HELP” is over, the screen will return to the widow (2)-work mode. If press 3 key at this time, the tester will get into self test state, the screen will show: The screen will turn in to show the contents several seconds later:,The screen will spend 155s showing the prompt, then it will show: Press key can end the self test, screen again return to window (2) work mode. If you press the 4 key at this time, the screen shows a window (3) about dealership code. Press the 1 key, the screen will show:,（3）,Dealership code -,（4）,Press key, screen will return to window (3) again; if you press the 2 key (feed in) at this time, the screen will show:,The dealership code is “01000”. The tester will return to widow (3) immediately. Press the C key in window (3), enter window (2), press the 1 key to return to window (1). If you input the address code 01, the display screen will show the related information of the ECU, such as the engine displacement, cylinder and valve number, procedure number, edition number, control unit code, and the last one is the dealership code (WSC 0000). It indicates which dealership programmed the code at last.,7.1.2 Find out the Trouble Location and the Cause of Trouble,Insert the plug of V.A.G 1552 into the diagnostic socket on vehicle, the screen will get into the address code widow (1), input the address code. If you want to test the engine electric control system, input 01, the in the screen will change into 01, the screen shows window (5).,（5）,The screen indicates “Q” confirmation key, then such screen will appear:,The screen still indicates “Q” , press the Q key, the screen will show window (6): Why the control unit does not answer?
