Leisure Time Per Week That Males and Females Enjoyed in 2007Employment StatusesEmployed full-time Part-timeUnemployedRetiredHousewivesAmount of Leisure Time Per Week (hour)male / female 45 / 37female 40male / female 85 / 70male / female 84 / 6950As is indicated in the table, under the backgrounds of being employed full-time, unemployed and retired, males had more leisure time to enjoy than females did. But with the other two statuses, namely 即, being employed part-time and being pure housewives, males had nothing to compare with females. Firstly, unemployed males and females enjoyed the greatest amount of leisure time. The average weekly leisure time enjoyed by males and females were 85 hours and 70 hours respectively. Among those who were retired, men had 84 hours while women had 69 hours. Generally speaking, males and females under these two statuses of employment showed very slight difference in terms of the amount of leisure time being enjoyed. Secondly, for those who worked full-time, males also had more leisure time than females and the table showed that males had 45 hours while women 37 hours. Thirdly, what is really interesting is that while /although it is totally understandable that the housewives category had not thing to do with men, it was really hard to believe that the category of being employed part-time only involved females and no males. Whatsoever/whats more, the figure we see is 40 hours for part-time employed females and 50 hours for housewives. In general, apart from two very special groups, males had more leisure time to enjoy than females.观察下列图表,请以“Changes in the Ownership of House”为主题,写一篇短文。注意:短文应包括以下内容:1.根据图示描述该市住房产权的变化。2.分析产生这些变化的原因。3.说明这些变化对个人和社会产生的影响。要求:1.首句已经为你写好。Ownership of Houses in a Big City in ChinaAs can be seen from the chart, ownership of houses in a big city in China changed in the past ten years. But from then on,the ownership of houses changed rapidly and so far 80 percent of houses have been private. What caused the changes? There might have been two main reasons. First, from 1995 up to now,the peoples living standards have been improving. Most of them can afford to buy the houses. Second, most people do not save a lot of money in the bank for their children as their parents did in the past. They want to have their own home and enjoy life.Such changes have had a great effect on the development of society. It does good to both the citizens and the government.根据下面曲线图,以Car Explosion in China为题,描述我国近10年来私人拥有小汽车情况,说明人们生活的水平的变化和你的看法。短文开头已给出,不计入总词数。词数:100左右。Car Explosion in ChinaAs is vividly described in the chart above, great changes in car ownership have taken place in China over past decade. The number of private cars has accordingly 相应地increased nearly 7 times from more than 2 million in 1996 to over 14 million in 2006. Whats the reasons? There are two main factors for these changes. Whats more,in modern society, time means money, many Chinese need a car to do business on time.In my view, however, the car explosion will constantly increase year by year,a large number of social problems such as traffic jams, among other things, are turning up 出现 nearly every city in China.Chicken 40%Pork 20%Beef 18%Lamb15%Fish 5%Others 2%This is a pie chart that shows the proportion of the meal sold in a supermarket.
