In my opinion, the reason of why this book became such popular, is of the funny words and interesting magic and so on.The city I like (1 ) My favourite city is Shanghai because it is modern and beautiful. It is also my hometown. You can see magnificent tall buildings everywhere. There are a lot of foreigners living in Shanghai. People in Shanghai are kind and helpful. Besides, the night views of the Bund are attractive. I like having a walk there. There are also many museums. I can widen my mind by visiting these interesting museums. Shanghai is really a wonderful city and I hope it will become better.The city I like best (2) Shanghai, as my hometown, is my favourite city. As an international city, its convenient for us to travel by public transportation. Whats more, Shanghai is a busy city and is famous for its night views. However, what attracts me most is the spring of Shanghai. In spring, different kinds of flowers are blooming. They make the city much more beautiful. Spring is the most beautiful season in a year in my eyes. The weather gets warmer, and the days get longer. Everything begins to grow. Trees turn green. At the beginning, they are light green. The swallows are coming back again. The forests are filled with the songs of birds. All the sounds on the earth are like music. The Festival I like best Spring Festival is my favorite. It usually comes in January or in February. Its the most important festival of the year and it is a time when all the family get together. I like Spring Festival because I have lots of free time at this time of the year. I can decorate the house with beautiful lights and flowers with my mother. There is always a big meal on New Years Eve and on New Years Day I wear my new clothes and visit friends and relatives. I can always get red packet with money so that I can buy whatever I want.
