名师精编精品说课Teaching plan for Unit xx Good morning, ladies and gentleman. I m number 10. It s really a great opportunity to be here sharing my lesson with you. Frist, let me introduce myself briefly. I graduated from university this year and I majored in English. And I have got TEM 4 Certificate and TEM 8 Certificate. That is test for english majors 8 level. I have got it through my hard working. Besides, I love teaching and I love students. I also want to choose the teaching as my life long caree. Now let s move to my teaching plan of this class.The content of my lesson is New Senior English for China Student s Book 3 Unit xx. I will talk about the lesson from the following five parts, the teaching material, the teaching theories and methods, the studying methods, the teaching procedures and blackboard design. 一 the teaching material First, let me begin with my understanding of the teaching material. The content of my lesson is This unit is to introduce the traveling. This is a reading lesson. The period 1. The text is the most important teaching material, which extends the main topic and contains most of the vocabularies and grammar points that students should learn. If the Ss can master it well, it will be helpful for them to learn the rest of this unit. Then, I d like to tell some current situation of my students. My senior high school students are someone in Grade .They have the basic abilities of learning, speaking, reading and writing. They have known something about XX .But Some long sentences are still difficult for some of them to understand. Some students are rarely speak up and they are unwilling to express their ideas in class.So I strongly recommend them to take every possible opportunity to practice their oral English. Afterwards, I put forward the teaching aims. According to the New English syllabus, I will talk about them from knowledge aim, ability aim and emotional aim . 1.Knowledge objects (语言目标:语音,词汇,语法,功能,话题) (1). to help students learn and master the new words, phrases and sentence patterns. (2). To know some basic information about music (3) the students can understand the content of the text 2.Ability objects ( 技能目标:听,说,读,写) (2) To improve the students reading ability, To understand the main idea to scan for the needed information,especially their skimming and scanning ability. 3.Emotion or moral objects (情感目标:兴趣,自信,合作,爱国,国际视野) (1)By completing the task, the Ss increase their interest in _and set up self-confidence in _. (2)develop students sense of cooperative learning. 名师精编精品说课The teaching important points Based on the requirement of the syllabus,the teaching important points is 1 to help the students get a good understanding of the passage. 2. To understand let the students find the difference and similarity between xx and xx. The teaching difficult points 1.how to xxx 二 the teaching theories and methods (after the analysis of the teaching material and teaching aims, I will use the following methods to achieve these teaching aims, 1.Communicative Approach(交际教学法 ) Language is used for communication. It s learner-centered. So students can improve their spoken English and master main content by communicating with their teacher and classmates. 2.Task-based Teaching Approach( 任务教学法 ) A task resembles activities which our students carry out in everyday life. Students should be given opportunities to fully involved in the class and through different tasks reflected on what they have learned and how well they are doing 3.Situational Action Approach (情景教学 ) this method establishes a real scene and the interaction between the teacher and the Ss. 4. Discussion. I am going to use these Teaching aids: A tape,a recorder, the blackboard and PPT 三 The Studying Methods My students will use self-dependent and cooperative learning. Then let s come to the most important part the teaching procedures. 四Teaching procedure In order to achieve the teaching process systematically, I divide the teaching process into six steps. Step 1 lead- in(5mins) “I nterest is the best teacher ” , therefore, at the very beginning of the class, I should spark the students mind to focus on the central topic ” travelling” . (1) I will show the photos of some beautiful places on powerpoint . (2) ask students some questions :do you like travel? why do you like travel? After answering the questions, the students will be eager to know something about the passage, and this is the very time to naturally lead the class into step2. (3) At beginning I will let Ss to discuss: after a glance of the title and the pictures of this passage , what do you think the passage is about? (3) Revision Check the students homework (4) interview (5) make a survey in class and finish the chart in page x. 名师精编精品说课Step 2 skimming(5mins) This is fast reading, asking students read the text quickly and grasp main idea of the massage meanwhile help students to form a good habit of reading. After they finish, ask some students to answer the following two ques
