BORMESPOLICY NO.:HR / P / 026DISTRIBUTION:DIVISION HEADSPAGE NO.:1 OF 2Purpose- To award the employee whose performance is outstanding in the month.Employment Procedures1. The Employee of the Month Program will be conducted on monthly basis, applying to all employees except hotel Executive Committee members. 2. Two employees may be chosen as “Employee of the Month” for each month: one from the front-line and the other from the heart of the house. 3. The individual candidate will be nominated by every division in writing. Each division will only nominate one candidate for “Employee of the Month”. If a division has both Front-line and Heart of the House, they may nominate one individual for each area. Management should nominate the employee whose performance is excellent in the month in reference to the set criteria.4. A standard Nomination Form should be completed and submitted to Human Resources Division before the 6th of each month, the reason(s) for the nomination should be stated in the form. The given criteria must be clearly met.5. Human Resources Division will consolidate all nominations and bring up for discussion at the Executive Committee Meeting around the 15th of each month. Each Division Head should elaborate on reason(s) for nomination of individual nominee from their division. Employee of the Month will be awarded in cash as well as a certificate with the signature of General Manager. Award for each winner of “Employee of the Month” will be an Go To Caf voucher for three people. The award and certificate will be presented to the winner by the General Manager at Staff Communication Meeting.7. Criteria for “Employee of the Month”1) Role model in his/her respective area.2) Have excellent performance in the following aspects:A. Caring BusinessSpecial contribution in achieving revenue and saving costB. Caring CustomerC. Good comments from customers; Customer Delight Team Member is Preferred. D. Caring Employee E. Cooperative, helpful and team player.3) Actively participate in hotel activities and programs; Give creative ideas and suggestions to help hotel in achieving our business goals. 4) No disciplinary action or guests complaint within latest 3 months.5) Demonstrate qualities of Sincerity, Respect, Courtesy, Helpfulness and Humility.
