Itconsistsof7parts.BackgroundInformation,TeachingObjectives,Te achingContents,TeachingAids,TeachingProcedures,Homework and Blackboard Design.1. Background Information:Now let s focus on the first part, background information.a. Teaching material:I have conclude the fectures of this book2 for grade7in junior school.There are a lot of pctures,so the students will be interested in the book.As we all know the interest is the best teacher of the students.b. Student analysis:It ksnow to us the students are very active and like playing games very much,so I will design many games to active them to anticapate them and learn something, so the students willbe interested in the class.c. Teaching methods:My teaching methods are CLT and TBLT. 1.Communicative language teaching method5 / 52.Task-based method language teaching methodIll set up some activities and tasks to make my class activity and vivid.2. Teaching Objectives:According to the analysis of teaching material and the character ofjuniorschoolSs, therefore Iputforwardthe following teaching objectives:a.Knowledge objectives:1.Ss can learn different kinds of jobs and say the names of them in English.2.For these various of jobs,they can know what they want tobe in the future. b.Ability objectives:1.Ss can improve their four skills, especially the speaking skillby role play and interview:2.Ss can developtheircommunicating and cooperating abilities by group work.3. Teaching Contents:a.The new vocabularies: accountant,actor,actress,singer,writer and etc. b.The new structures:-What do you want to be in the future.-I want to be an actor/actress c.Teaching key points:To master and use the sentences fluently and freely. d.Teaching difficult points :Thepronunciationofthesewords,suchas,accountant,actor,actress.4. Teaching Aids:I willusesome traditional teaching aids,such as, pictures,tapes, blackboard ,at the same time multi-media PPT, video will also be used in my lesson.They can not only improve our teaching results,but also help Ss have a better understanding of the text .5. Teaching Procedures:Now let s go to the most important part: teaching procedures.I will divide my teaching procedures into 4 steps.Step 1: Warm upa. Greeting: At the beginning of the class,ISllsgteot an English song to make themselves relax.sthinegb. Review:Ask Ss to writedown the names of the jobs they already know on the paper.c. Lead in:Playa videowithmulti-mediaDreaminthe futureto arouse their curiosity about the topic.d. Discussion: Letthemtalkaboutthe issue inpairs to cultivate their own views and share their respective dreams with others in Chinese.Step 2:Newvocabularies and structuresPicture show and act : Firstly,Ill give some pictures about the jobs,then ask some Ss to act according to the pictures, finally,Ill show the English words on the back of the pictures.Afterlearning the new words one by one, I ll write them down on the Blackboard.The new vocabularies: accountant,actor,actress,singer,writer and etc.Then write down the new structures on the Blackboard. The new structures:-What do you want to be in the future.-I want to be an actor/actress Step 3: Practicea. Listening:Ill ask the Ss to listen to a tape,the first time they should grasp the main idea, after the second time they should be able to answer some specific questions.b. Role play:work in groups of two,find out their partners ideal jobs and explain why.Step 4: ConsolidationIn this part,Ill use an interview.Interview: devide the Ss into several groups,ask one member to interview others in every group to fill in the blank.After that,ask every group to present the results in the class.your mothersyour fathersyour idealstudent 1student 2student 36. Homework:Write a short paragraph to introduce the jobs of the Ssfamily members.7.
