Greeting and reviewIt will costabout 2 mins.Aftergreeting with the Ss, ask Ss to make a short dialogue about asking the wayaccording to a map.The purposeof this is to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss, and, atthe same time, it provides situations to review the learnt knowledgefor the nextstep.Step 2.PresentationNow Illmainly talk about this step. It will cost about 20 mins.1. Presentthe words and sentence patterns.Help the Ss understand the meaningwith the PPT. Then lead the Ss to read and then play a guessing name “whatsmissing” to make sure they can say the new words correctly.2. Show a crowed street and lead in numbers learning by counting the carson the street. And then play the game insection 3 to practice numbers. Divide the wholeclass into four groups to have a competition.The purpose of this is to present the new words andsentences in the situation, which relates to the Ss real life experiences, tohelp the Ss understand the language easily and naturally. Proper competitioncan arouse the Ss interest in English learning.Step3. PracticeIt will cost 15mins. There are 3 activities.
