Lets talk2.1 Introducing farm animalsIn this section, students will learn the names of various farm animals and their characteristics. This includes basic vocabulary related to animals, such as pig, cow, and sheep, as well as descriptors such as big, small, black, and white.Vocabulary list: Pig Cow Sheep Chicken Horse Duck Big Small Brown White BlackSample dialogue:Teacher: What do you see in the picture?Students: I see a cow, a pig, and some chickens.Teacher: Thats right. Do you know what animal this is? (pointing to the pig)Students: Its a pig.Teacher: Very good. Is the pig big or small?Students: Its big.Teacher: And what color is it?Students: Its pink.3. Lets play3.1 Guess the animalIn this game, the teacher or a student can describe an animal and the other students have to guess which animal it is. This helps reinforce the vocabulary and descriptive language learned in the previous section. # Example:Teacher: Im thinking of an animal with feathers and a beak. It can swim and fly. What is it?Students: A duck!3.2 Animal charadesIn this game, one student acts out an animal while the other students guess.
