In this article, the author strongly supported the shuttle bus, which has been only applied in some metroplises like Beijing and Shanghai. At present, the shuttle bus hasnt been applied in second-tier city, which resulted in the consequence that the superiority of the shuttle bus hasnt been taken full advantage of. In this article, the author chose a second-tier city in China as a object of study. They gave out enough questionares to make a survey, which was the data sources used to analyze. According to the consequence of the analysis, they gave some advice about how to expand the shutter bus in second-tier city to improve the position and function of public transport， which has a positive effect on the traffice jam in the center of city in a large part.
