Mudual Two (Unit 3 Unit 4) 重点知识 （必须熟记）一 语法 （形容词的原级、比较级、最高级的用法）1 形容词的比较级、最高级的构成方法（分三种记）1）以er, est结尾的，如：taller, tallest, happier, happiest, later, latest, bigger, biggest2) 在前面加more, the most的， 如：more beautiful, the most beautiful3) 特殊变化的，如下表： 原级比较级最高级good / well betterbestbad / badly / ill worse（较差）worst（最差）farfarther / further（较远）farthest / furthest （最远）littleless（较少，修饰不可数名词）least（最少，修饰不可数名词）2 形容词的原级的用法1) (not) as +adj.原级 + as , 表示“和一样”或“和不一样” This book is as interesting as that one. 这本书和那本书一样漂亮。 My mobile phone is not as new as yours. 我的手机不如你的手机新。2）（not）as many + 可数名词复数+ as, (not) as much + 不可数名词 + as I have as many as notebooks as my brother. 我的笔记本跟哥哥的一样多 A sheep doesnt eat as much grass as a cow. 一头羊吃的草没有一头牛吃的多。 3) 倍数 + as + adj.原级 + as, 表示“是的几倍” Your room is twice as big as mine. 你的房间是我的房间两倍大。This building is three times as tall as that one. 这栋大楼是那栋的三倍高。注意：在否定句中，第一个as 也可换成so, 即not so as 如：The new sofa is not as comfortable as the old one. = The new sofa is not so comfortable as the old one. 这个沙发不如旧的那个舒服。3 形容词的比较级的用法1）句型：A + be + 形容词比较级 + than + B He is taller than me. 他比我高。 This film is more popular than that one. 这部电影比那部受欢迎。2) 句型：Which + be +形容词比较级, A or B ? Which is cheaper, the shirt or the dress ? 哪件便宜些，衬衫还是裙子？3）比较级前可用以下副词修饰：much, even, a lot, a little, far, still , 如： This computer is much faster than that one. 这部电脑比那部快得多。 记住不要写成：This computer is more faster than that one. (错句) This computer is much more expensive than that one. 这部电脑比那部贵得多。 记住不要写成：This computer is much expensive than that one. （错句）4) 比较级 + and + 比较级， 或more and more + 多音节形容词/ 副词的原级，表示“越来越”， 如： He made fewer and fewer mistakes. 他犯错越来越少了。 He spoke more and more slowly. 他说得越来越慢。5）The + 比较级， the + 比较级， 表示“越， 就越” The more, the better. 越多就越好。 The more careful you are, the fewer mistakes you will make. 你越小心，错误就会犯得越少。4 形容词最高级的用法1）句型：A + be + the + 形容词最高级 + 名词 + in / of 短语。 Our monitor is the tallest boy in our class. 班长是我们班里最高的男孩。 This book is the most interesting of all. 这本书是所有书当中最有趣的。2) 句型：Which + be + the + 形容词最高级, A, B, or C ? Which is the largest, China, Russia or Canada ? 哪一个国家最大，中国、俄国还是加拿大？3）句型： A + be + one of + the + 形容词最高级 + 复数名词 Da Vinci is one of the most famous inventors in the world. 达芬奇是世界上最著名的发明家之一。二 重点词语和句型1 look forward to + n. / doing 期待、盼望 I look forward to your reply. 我期待你的回复。 Im looking forward to seeing you. 我正在盼望见到你。2 Thank you for + n. / doing 谢谢你 Thank you for your help. 谢谢你的帮助。 Thank you for helping me. 谢谢你帮助了我。3 give some advice on how to do 提出一些关于如何做的建议 The headmaster gave some advice on how to study English well in the meeting. 校长在会上给我们提供了如何学好英语的建议。4 Sb. spend time / money (in) doing sth. / on sth. = It takes sb. time to do sth. She spent three hours (in) drawing the picture. / She spent three hours on the picture. = It took her three hours to draw the picture.关于“花钱买”还有以下两种说法：Pay + money + for + sth. / Sth. + Cost + sb. + money I paid 100 yuan for this dress. = I spent 100 yuan on this dress. = This dress cost me 100 yuan.我花了100元买了这条裙子。5 stop sb. from doing sth. 阻止某人做某事 My father stops me from going outside at night. 我父亲不让我在晚上外出。其余的重点短语请在课本单词表和B册中找。
