Connotations and Characteristics【Abstract】Theso-calledsocialistrailwayculturereferstoallpracticalactivitiesofChinesepeopleintheconstructionofnewChinasrailwaysundertheleadershipofChineseCommunistPartyCCPaswellasallculturalachievements，whichhasabundantculturalconnotations.Asanimportantpartofsocialistadvancedculture，thesocialistrailwayculturehasthedistinctfeatureswithChinesecharacteristics，suchaslayingequalstressesoneconomicbenefitandsocialbenefit，payingequalattentiontoenterpriseculturalconstructionandideologicalandpoliticalwork，forgingbothrevolutionaryculturaltraditionsandadvancedcultureandsoon.【Keywords】socialistrailwayculture；connotations；characteristics【作者簡介】邱铁鑫1992-，男，四川乐山人，西南交通大学马克思主义学院博士研究生，研究方向：中国特色社会主义文化建立。I.ConnotationsofsocialistsrailwaycultureSocialistrailwaycultureinthispaperreferstoallpracticalactivitiesofChinesepeopleintheconstructionofnewChinasrailwaysundertheleadershipofChineseCommunistPartyCCPaswellasallculturalachievements.Fromtheperspectiveofculturalstructure，socialistrailwayculture，assimilartoallrailwaycultures，canbeclassifiedintorailwaymaterialculture，railwayspiritualcultureandrailwaysystemculture.Thesethreefactors，asawholeofasystem，areinseparableandindispensable.1.RailwaymaterialcultureRailwaymaterialcultureistheexternalmanifestationofrailwayculture.Ittakesthematerialsasthecarriers，whichisadistinctivefeatureofrailwaymaterialculture，andmosttightlycorrelateswithhumansrailway-relatedproductionandliftpractices.Therefore，railwaymaterialcultureisthemostdirectachievementsthatwerecreatedbyhumanbeingsinthepracticalactivitiesoftransformingtheobjectiveworldinrailway-relateddomains，whichincludesallrailwaytransportationfacilitiessuchastracks，trainsandstationsaswellasvariouskindsofrailway-relatedmaterialobjects.Accordingly，railwaymaterialcultureshowstwobasicfeatures：ontheonehand，itincludesallphysicalmaterialobjectsrelatedtorailwaytransportationandproduction；ontheotherhand，itisendowedwithcertainculturalandartisticconnotationsLiGuoping，LiuGuangwu，2020.Thepracticesofhumanbeingsindiscoveringandchangingtheobjectiveworldinrailway-relateddomains，thatareembodiedinrailwaymaterialculture，notonlycreatedrailwaymaterialsbutalsogavethesematerialstheculturalmeanings.2.RailwayspiritualcultureRailwayspiritualculturereferstothespiritualandculturalconnotationsformedinhumanslong-termpracticesinrailway-relateddomains，mainlyincludingfundamentalphilosophy，modeofthinking，standardofvalue，professionalethics，commongoalsandspirituality.Theseconnotationsshowrelativeindependence，whicharethevaluecoreofrailwaycultureandalsothespiritualnaturesintheformationanddevelopmentofrailwayculture.Therefore，inacertainsense，railwayspiritualcultureisthenarrowly-definedrailwayculture.Railwayspiritualcultureimposeddeep-rootedeffectsonhumansthinkingway，ideology，valueorientationandbehaviorchoiceFengLiujian，2020.Forexample，“ChallengeLimitsandStriveforFirst-classisthespiritoftheQinghai-TibetRailway，whichcanberegardedasakindofinspiringandencouragingrailwayspiritualcultureandwasformedintheRailwaysbuildingprocessbyChinesepeople.Thisrailwayspiritualculturenotonlydisplaysthebuildersheroicspiritsofmarchingforwardcourageouslyandbeingfearlessofdangeranddifficulties，butalsohighlightsthespiritualwillandstrongdeterminationoftheChinesenationinnaturetransformation.Inotherwords，thespiritualcultureoftheQinghai-TibetRailwayembodiesthenationalspirit.Accordingly，socialistrailwayspiritualcultureisnotonlyakindofspiritualcultureinthesenseofindustrialculturebutalsoanimportantcomponentofsocialistadvancedcultureandcontainsthevaluepursuitofnationalspirit.3.RailwaysystemcultureAsWangYongguiandZhengHaixiangsaid：Systemcultureconnectsmaterialcultureandspiritualcultureandoverallreflectsbothmaterialcultureandspiritualculture，whichplaysanindispensableroleincoordinatingsocialrelationshipsandregulatingandstandardizingpeoplesmateriallifeandspirituallifeandistheconcentratedreflectionofcultureWangYonggui，ZhengHaixiang，2020.Likewise，railwaysystemculturealsoconnectsrailwaymaterialcultureandrailwayspiritualculture.Railwaysystemcultureistheexternalizationoftheinherentspiritofrailwaycultureandreferstotheindustryspecificationsthatwereformedinhumansproductionandoperationpracticesinrailway-relateddomainsforhighlightingthespiritualcoreofrailwaycultureandshouldbeabidedbyallsocialmembers，whichmainlyincludesmanagementandorganizationstandardssuchasrailway-relatedpolicies，laws，rules，regulationsandnorms.Socialistsystemculturemainlyreflectsthevaluepursuitandspiritualnaturethatrailwaycultureservesthepeopleandthusbetterpromotetheconstructionsinallaspectsofrailwaysoastoformnewrailwaycultureachievements.II.CharacteristicsofsocialistrailwaycultureSocialistrailwayculturegraduallyshowsthefollowingdistinctfeatureswithChinesecharacteristics.1.LayingequalstressesoneconomicbenefitandsocialbenefitSocialistrailwaycultureisakindofsocialistculturebasedonpublicownershipandfollowsthevalueideaof“Peoplerailwaysservepeopleandtheactionguidelineof“ServingtheSociety.Accordingly，
