Pair Work: According to the timetable, give some questions to them in order that they can talk freely. (1) How many classes do you have in a week? (2) What are they? (3) How many of the subjects are science subjects? (4) How many of them are languages? (5) Which are your three favourite subjects? Can you give me some reasons? (Suggested answers: I like English because I want to communicate with British and understand what the English songs mean.) (6) Which of them are not academic subjects?3. Individual Work: Ask Ss to open the book, and turn to page 1. Read out the vocabulary in the box of Activity 1 in order to keep them in their mind.4.
