Which of the above places would you like to visit?2. What makes these places great and famous?3. What is a cultural relic?4. Why is a cultural relic important? 5. As we know, China is a country with a history of more than 5,000 years. In the long history, people in different periods have left us quite a number of cultural sites, many of which are world famous. Now look at the pictures on the screen and guess what heritage they are.4. Does a cultural relic always have to be rare and valuable? Is it enough to have survived for a long time?5. Are cultural relics only objects like vases or can they be buildings too?(referring to the pictures in warming up)【探究延伸】1.Speaking task on page 46Debate Do you think China should save all of its cultural relics?Do you think it necessary to rebuild yuanmingyuan in Beijing?2. You are sent to a small town where you find a relic that was stolen from a palace. It is a rare Ming Dynasty vase. The man who has it insists that it belongs to his family. What will you say to him?
