This period begins with the story of a bag snatching followed by accounts of crimes. The various names of crimes and the action verbs as well as the persons committing crimes are the difficulties.Students analysis: The students of Class 1 (A), Senior 1 generally have a good command of English. They are better than the other students of the same grade in all the skills involved in English learning. Relatively speaking, their spoken language needs improvement the most. The learning and using of various names of crimes and the action verbs as well as the persons committing crimes will be the major task for them in this period. Most students are quite familiar to the teacher, since the teacher has been teaching them for nearly a year. And half of the class cannot be more acquainted to the teacher because of the previous four and a half years spent together.Teaching aims:Language aims1.
