Greetings. Greet Ss as usual.Step II. Leading-in.T: Boys and girls, I read an English novel two weeks ago. It is very interesting. And now, Im still reading the novel. So I can say “I have been reading an English novel.”Teacher writes down “ have/has been doing” on the blackboard.T: Then boys and girls, read the reading passage and find out the sentences including “have/has been doing”. This time ,you work in pairs. Read and translate the sentences.Step III. Grammar points(1): have/has been doing T: Through these sentences, we will sum up some usage of present perfect progressive tense 1. Structure :have/has been doing 2. The adverbials of time: this month/year/,these days, recently, lately; meanwhile give out the other adverbials : in/over/during the past /last few years/.,since,for.3.Present perfect progressive tense can be used with some verbs of action, such as, work ,study, build, play, teach , etc.4. Some usage of present perfect progressive tense. 1) An action happened in the past, and it lasts till now . Its possible that it will continue . Eg: We have been learning English for 8 years. They have been building the bridge for two months. 2) An action happened in the past and it continues till we are speaking. Eg: The workers clothes are all wet. Theyve been working in the rain. He is dead drunk. Hes been drinking with his friends.Step IV.PracticeGive the student to practice to solid what they have learned. Translation:1.自从2013年,我一直在这所学校学习。2.两天以来,我一直在写这篇文章。3.最近,工人们一直在建造实验室。4.这一周,天一直在下雨。Step V. Grammar points (2)(Discussion): The differences between present perfect tense and present perfect progressive tense (ppt and pppt)T: Boys and girls, there are two sentences .Can you say out the differences between them?Please discuss and find them out. A: I have learned English for 10 years. B: I have been learned English for 10 years.The differences:1 Present perfect tense stresses an action that has been finished while present perfect progressive tense expresses an action that continues. Eg: He has made a birthday cake. (The action is over.) He has been making a birthday cake.(The action is going on.) I have read this famous novel. ( The action is over.) I have been reading this famous novel.(The action is going on.) 2 Present perfect progressive tense stresses the repetition of the action while present perfect tense didnt has the meaning. Eg: Someone has phone you. (The action doesnt repeat.) Someone has been phoning you.( The action repeats some times.) 3. Present perfect tense just states the fact while present perfect progressive can also be used to express some feelings such as anger, delight, dissatisfaction hatred ,etc. Eg: I have waited for two hours. (states the fact)I have been waiting for two hours. (expresses the anger and impatience) Miss Li has always been studying hard. (expresses the praise) Step VI. Further discussion According to these sentences , through further discussion, we get the following points: 1. Some continuous verbs such as keep,learn,live ,stay, study ,work, etc, can be used in both present perfect tense and present perfect progressive tense . And there is little differences. Eg: How long have you worked (been working) here ? Ive lived (been living) here since 1999. 2.Present perfect progressive tense can not be used in passive voice, If we need the passive voice, we use the present perfect tense instead. Eg:The house has been painted for a month. The problem has been studied for a week. 3.Some verbs expressing stillness, feelings, emotion ,such as “have, exist, like, hate, hear, know, sound ” etc, cant be used in present perfect progressive tense. But it can be used in present perfect tense. Eg. Theyve known each other since 1999.Step VII. Practice Complete the passage with the correct form of the
