What is he like? 第一课时 教学设计商南县城关第三小学 奚艳教学目标:1.知识目标:(1)熟练地掌握单词:clever、hard-work、lazy、shy、friendly、serious、kind。(1)能听懂、会说:-What is/are he/she/theylike?-He/She/They-Whos your . teacher? - 2.技能目标:通过本节课重点句型的学习,学生能够灵活运用重点句型谈论自己身边熟悉的人物特点,或者通过他人谈论的内容熟悉了解更多的人物特点。3.情感目标:在本节课的课堂教学中教师要注重培养学生细心观察的能力,引导学生了解自己身边人物性格特点,以及培养学生尊敬老师,尊重他人的良好品质。教学重点:熟练掌握本节课的词汇和句型。教学难点:熟练运用本节课的词汇和句型。教学准备:课件、单词卡教学过程: 一、Warming up: 1.Greetings. Boys and girls,Hello! How are you today? Im fine too.Thank you.Youre so polite! 2.分组: Today,there are three groups in our class,Look!You re Hope group; You re Happy group; And the last group,you are sunny group.! (指着板书分组再依次明确各自组名) (副)板书:Which group is the winner?GroupscoresHope GroupHappy GroupSunny Group3. 激励氛围:Im the best!Who will be the best in this class,have the confidence?Yes or no? Ok,tell me!(呈现)Im the best!(齐说,分组说,相机加分)2. Lets Chant:4. 过渡:Now,lets chant!5. 指着每幅图片,明确图片代表的内容,注意grass、king的教读。6. Lets Chant 立刻this:师边拍手边说起头后,齐说;分两部分一人一句轮流:指一组,stand up,You, the first line. You,the second line.Are you clear? One 、two go!二、新授:1.借助“一休”图片学习单词clever并导入新课:(1)学习单词:clever承上,You are very clever!(顺势呈现并板书clever)在黑板上标注强调音标“e”/e/ “er”的读音后,Who can read? (指一人读对后当小老师领读) Read follow her or him. Good teacher.(该组加分) It means great!Good!(顺势呈现“聪明的一休”图片)。(2)导入课题:Who? What is he like?(说并呈现此句) Today,well learn Unit 5 (呈现课题) 呈现后教师说:it means What do you think of him?同时,直接呈现注解与其下方:意思是:“他是什么样的人?”主要用来了解一个人的相貌和性格特征。 齐读,指名读。(3) 单词及句子运用:(4) (再“一休”图)指一人问:What is he like? 相机呈现并板书:He is clever.(指名单个问答3次)3.学习:hard-working及句型What is she like?(直接问并呈现“一女深夜读书”图) What is she like? Hard-working 指导写:板书car,得出字母“ar”/a:/后,试读hard,指名写hard(close your eyes,spell it) 板书work,指读,再加ing成working 引导读写。(指着小短线:Dont forget it.) 拍节奏领读。 直接依次指名问两学生:What is she like? 相机呈现:She is hard-working.4.学习:lazy及句型What is the man like? (呈现“躺再椅子上”图)Is the man hard-working? No What is the man like? (呈现) he is lazy.(呈现并板书单词) 强调“a”/eI/ , 教读,write to your deskmate. (三组轮流问答)You ask! You answer!.(三遍)5. 学习:shy及句型:What is the boy like?(遮盖图)How about the boy? Ask me and Ill tell you(指名问并相继呈现后一组闭上眼睛问)出示并板书单词:shy 强调“y”/aI/ 指名读写。 女问男答。6. 学习:friendly及句型:What are the pupils like? (问并呈现消失图) friendly(强调读写后高低音领读) 问一组直接引出答语:They are friendly.7. 学习:serious及句型What is he like?(遮盖图)Want to know him? Ask me! 呈现问句 呈现单词强调音标(儿歌式) er/I/ iou /I/ 教读,拿着卡片多指名读。 问一人引出答语。8.学习:kind及句型:What is grandma like?(直接出示图)Is she serious,too? 问并呈现:What is this grandma like? Kind(写) 答语。三、巩固单词:1.大小声读单词。2.踩地雷游戏。(Bomb,not read;No bomb,read it.)四、在歌曲Who is your teacher?中渗透学习句型:Who is yourteacher?及其回答。1.Now,are you tired? Lets sing a song! (播放歌曲视频生试着跟唱)2.变化词汇唱。Lets change and sing more! Ok? (呈现词播放原来歌曲,生换词唱。)五、拓展延伸:1.Talk about your teacher.(承歌曲)Who is your teacher? What is your teacher like? Now,Lets talk about your teacher with your partner! These sentences can help you!2.Talk about yourself.(Who is the first?)3.情感升华:Believe yourself! Everyone is helpful!(呈现:每种性格的人都是有用的。) (Say it together,say it to me/yourself/ deskmate)六、课堂小结:1.总结知识:Who can tell me what you learned today?2.总结小组表现,鼓励优胜组。七、作业:Make a postcard for yourself.(借助今天所学词汇和句型为自己设计一张明信片。)课后反思:1. 单词、词汇较为简单,所以在词汇句型处理换IE应再快速一点,腾出时间来完成学以致用两个环节。2. 在介绍同学和自己时,应引导学生用上新课开始的chant部分词汇来丰富拓展内容,如:介绍自己的姓名、年龄、身高、体型、年级、性格特征、爱好等。3. 如果课堂时间不够,可以在“介绍你的同学和自己”这两个环节任意选一个。4.课前可让学生准备好小镜子一枚,如果时间充分,在为自己制作明信片时为自己画像用。
