Truth or dare?Beryl: Ill go truth.Gary: Ok, how many boys have you dated?Beryl: Come on, you know the answer.Gary: Yeah, you never choose dare, youve never had a boyfriend. We cant find any pleasure in playing this with you.Beryl: All right, fine, dare.Sarah: Really? Then you better be careful. Sarah looks around, and thinks for a second, then grins slyly.Sarah: I dare you to make out with Sean. He is just over there.Beryl: Sarah! You cant be serious!Sarah: Unfortunately, I am.Beryl takes a breath, and walks towards Sean.Sarah: I cant believe she is going to do this!Gary: You sure she is not gonna run away?Beryl kisses Sean on the lip softly. Sean is shocked.Beryl: Im sorry. I just cant help doing this.Sean: Wow Im surprised. I thought you are the kind of girl cares nothing but study. Beryl: Well, it turned out you were wrong.Sean: In this case, Im willing to find out how wrong I was. They look at each other and smile. Sean: May I grab you a drink?Beryl: Sure.Gary and Sarah saw all of this in the distance.Gary: She did it! Its crazy!Sarah: Not exactly, I said “make out”, but thats just a kiss.Gary: Be content, this is Beryl, crazy for her to talk to a boy. Who is this Sean anyway?Sarah: A newcomer, and the hottest guy in our class. He also seems kind and smart andGary: Hey, Im here!Sarah: You are not in my class. Besides, you have to admit he is cute.They dont know that Olivia overheard all their conversation, and is very jealous of what happened.STAGE TWOOne week after that party, before class, Olivia comes to Sean.Olivia: Sean, there is something you need to know.Sean: Whats going on?Olivia: Yesterday I overheard a conversation between Beryl and her friends. I found out that she kissed you that day at the party just because they were playing “truth or dare”. And I heard Beryl also said “Since he became serious, I may as well play this game for a while. Whatever, I got bored these days. ”Sean remains silent.Olivia: Are you ok?Sean: I must go talk to Beryl.Sean asks Beryl to come out of the classroom.Sean: It was fun spending time with you. From this on, they avoid seeing each other.STAGE THREESeveral days after, at school. Beryl comes to Sean.Beryl: I have something to tell you.Sean: Im listening.Beryl: I admit we were playing “truth or dare”, and I never regret choosing “dare” that day. When Sarah said what she wanted me to do, I was pretty freaked at first. But I was excited too, because she said something I had been long dreamed of. Then, I did it, the most daring thing in my life. She smiles, sighs, and goes on.Beryl: That was so like a dream. When the dream waked up a week later, the happiness, the heartbeat, all my wishes, they are all gone. But Im satisfied. Its my fault had my head in the clouds. You remind me of some wonderful fantasy just out of reach. Thanks Sean, for came into my world, and left me the precious memory I dare not to expect.Sean: What a heartwarming story! I almost believed you, if I hadnt seen your friends sneaking around there, tittering. Whats this? Another “truth or dare”? Ive had enough!Beryl looks into Seans eyes, gently.Beryl: Yes, another “truth or dare”. Just this time, my choice is “truth”.
