Section A (The first period)【教材分析】教学内容为人教版义务教育试验教科书go for it!英语7年级上册Unit8,Section A。学习内容主要体现以下几点:掌握词汇: the words of 12 months ; the words of from 1st to 31st 掌握目标语言: When is your /his /her birthday? My /his /her birthday is October tenth 【设计理念】任务型语言教学倡导“在做中学,在做中用”的教育理念,根据这理念,我将任务为中心将语言应用的基本理念转化为具有实践意义的课堂教学方式,运用学习任务组织教学,强化语言实践的过程,充分体现了语言的交际本质。本节课的设计主要依据教材内容及七年级学生的年龄特点,充分体现新课程标准下倡导的“让学生在教师的指导下,通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式,实现任务目标,感受成功”的理念,使学生在情景中感受、体验和运用新学语言。 【教学目标】 语言目标: 引导学生学会讨论日期和序数词的表达方法。 技能目标: 学会日常交际用语,谈论日期等,会询问或回答生日。 情感目标: 学生通过相互询问生日,可以增进同学间的相互了解 ,并学会在英语交流中注意他人的情感。【教学重点】词汇: the words of 12 months , the words of from1st to 31st 句型 When is your /his /her birthday? My /his /her birthday is October tenth 【教学难点】when 引导的特殊疑问句询问日期和序数词的书写 。【学情分析】本单元的主题是询问和谈论日期,围绕这一主题进行一系列的交际活动,使学生掌握日期的表达法,正确使用 when 引导的特殊疑问句对日期进行询问.在学习日期的表达法时要先学习序数词的构成,学生在以前的课程里已经学习了基数词,对于两种数词之间的区别一定会令学生感到头痛,教师要引导学生运用对比的方法,找出构成规律,总结特殊变化,对比强化记忆。 【教学方法】 1任务型活动 2小组合作学习【教具准备】 1录音机,挂历,卡片 2提前问清楚学生的生日,以及上课那天过生日的同学 教学实录【教学过程】Step One : Greeting and warm up ( The teacher comes into the classroom with a calendar which is turning to December 5th ) 1。T: Lets sing the Good morning song。 ( Sing the song together) 2。T: Revise the numbers from 1 to 31 by counting the students in class。 Ask the students to count the students together。 (设计意图:通过唱歌的形式调动学生的学习参与积极性,并且让学生重温韵律为后面的生日歌曲奠定基础。复习1到31英文数字为后面的日期的读法做好准备。) Step Two : Presentation 1。Show them the calendar, and ask “ Whats the date today? and help the student answer “ Its December 5th。” By looking at the calendar。 Tell them the more dates with the calendar. 2.Ask a boy “ When is your birthday ? and help him with Chinese 。 He can say the date in Chinese .Then let him repeat in English。 3.Notice the dates , and write the question and the answer on the blackboard . 4.Teach the dates words and write them on the blackboard like :January 1st February2nd March 3rd 。 And let them to repeat the words. (设计意图:先呈现日期让学生从感官上了解语言,并用日历呈现一年十二个月的英文单词,学生更加直观的接触语言,练习语言,并且运用语言做事情,提高了学生的兴趣,让学生更加积极主动的去探究语言。) StepThree : Task 1Pairwork 1.T: Today is Lins birthday. Lets sing the song Happy birthday to you 2.Make a conversation : A: When is your birthday? B: Its June 12th 。 3. Let them work in pairs for 3 minutes and fill in the chart. NameBirthday (设计意图:学生在歌声中愉快的感悟本单元语言重点,并且增进了同学之间的感情。在学生已经形成系统的语言材料之后,让学生自己练习语言,并做好记录,同时训练了学生的听,说和写。让学生多维的去体验语言。) StepFour : Practice 1.Call several pairs to act out their conversations in class ,other students listen carefully and answer the question: When is her/ his birthday ? 2。Report . Using the results they got and give a report。 For example : Wang Fangs birthday is on 3.Call some students to report in class and give them claps when they finish their work. (设计意图:运用所学的目标语言,让学生用英语去做事情,用中学,学中用,体现了英语的交际性。)Step Five:Listening task 1.Listen to the tape and number the conversations 13。 2.Listen again and check the answers in class。 Then repeat after the tape. 3.Work in pairs to act the conversations like this:A: When is Veras Mikes birthday? B: Her /his birthday is October 10th. 4。Call some students to give a report about the three kids who they talked about just now. (设计意图:在完成听力的基础上设计第三人称的pairwork,小组合作学习不仅有利于学生积极参与课堂活动,开动脑筋,进一步练习目标语言,而且为下一课时的语言做好了铺垫。同时训练了学生的多维语言能力。) StepSix : SummaryLet the students show what they have learnt .(设计意图:有利于培养学生的口语表达能力和自主学习能力。) StepSeven : Homework 1. Ask three students for their birthdays and then write a report and turn in their reports. 2 。Ask your parents birthday or the other family members birthday and write a report.(设计意图:课外作业的布置有效的巩固了所学语言知识,学生的知识得到了有益的延伸进一步也为学生创设真实的语言环境,让他们在生活中使用语言,让学生去了解一下父母。进行热爱生命,孝敬父母的思想教育 ,体现情感目标。)板书设计 Unit 8 When is your birthday?
